Stay away from jail bait or go to prison. She can call 911 if she is physically abused.
This is a very strange situation; I have been seeing a spine doctor for 8 years. My doctor wrote a couple scripts for medical equipment and letters to support their need. It's difficult to offer an answer without knowing what the letter contained and what the grounds for the denial was (medical necessity?). You could consult with a Michigan attorney to learn if they feel it would be cost-effective to pursue. Good luck

The adult could be charged with Sexual Performance of a Child until the kid is 18 years old.
It won't be illegal after that, but it will be creepy. The general rule for creepiness is half your age plus 7. At age 50 you'll need someone age 32 or older to avoid being creepy.
