That is good that you have improved your situation. There is not paperwork that you can file. However, a county department of social services or the child's guardian ad litem may file a petition for reinstatement, if they believe warranted. These are the people you should speak with or have an... Read more »
Never filed quitclaim. All debt and proceeds of house are mine. Let on he wants half of sale

You may need to go back to Court to ask the Court to enforce the Divorce Decree. The court could hold him in contempt of court with a penalty of jail time.
It may be faster if you consult an attorney who could send a Demand Letter on your behalf and engage the Courts if needed.
Should I pursue with a compensation claim.

Hopefully, the only damages were the destruction of the charger itself, with no injuries or surrounding property damage. If that is the case, you could contact the manufacturer and bring it to their attention. If you are interested in a refund or exchange and compensation for the damaged component,... Read more »
Hi,
My sister applied for the I 130 request for me from Colorado (where she lives) and the request got received by California. I read that the handling time from Nebraska, which has jurisdiction of CO has the fastest turnaround time. Is there any way I can change service center?

You can not request that USCIS transfer the relative petition from one regional service center to another. USCIS will transfer cases between the centers depending on the workload of each center.
My concern is that the breed is susceptible to illnesses that we were not expecting with the other breed.

Pet stores are notorious for this kind of behavior. They are in it to make a sale, not to care for the living, breathing animals. Pet stores are also very likely to get their puppies from puppy mills. In short, pet stores should be avoided at all costs.
To answer your question, it kind of... Read more »

If you did not turn in marriage license paperwork to the state, then you are not traditionally married. Whether you are common law married depends on whether you cohabited and held yourself out as husband and wife.
I no longer speak to my family. I was on a plan with them and using my military discount to save them money. I spoke to Verizon about this issue of my discount, not having a phone and how they are charging extra for line but stated there is nothing they can do since Im not an account owner. I have... If they are not entitled to a military discount, they are committing fraud. You could report it, however given the small amount involved, this level of fraud may not be a high law enforcement priority.
We split up and she took the said dog with her but sent the dog back to me because the dog didn’t get along with anyone or other pets . 3 years now she wants the dog back what are my options? Thank you.

It kind of depends on what she said when she sent the dog back. If she was giving you the dog, then the dog is yours and you don’t have to give the dog back. If she sent it back asking you to watch the dog for a period of time, and you agreed, then you might have to give the dog back. More... Read more »
Am I able to take my baby with me back to Iowa without getting in any sort of trouble?

Generally, in the absence of a custody order, a parent can take a child where they want. What a parent can not do though is withhold the child from the other parent, as that would be parental kidnapping. Colorado is the home state of the child so any custody action would be filed here until the... Read more »

If the agreement is signed by both parties it is enforceable as a contract, but not a court order. You could have an attorney draft it into a parenting plan and file it with the court to have it issued as an order.

My cousin died recently and owned a failing business that the next of kin do not want to continue. The next of kin all live in korea (Mom, Dad, Sister). The accountant of the business is saying our family (his aunt, uncle) has to pay for the businesses taxes. What do we do? He left no will and his... Read more »

Talk to an attorney about obtaining disclaimers from the nearest next of kin. That would then leave the estate to the next nearest next of kin, according to the laws of intestate succession. If the next nearest next of kin are in country and are interested in continuing or selling the business,... Read more »
My car was hit in Brighton CO by a truck from a trucking company in Milfor NE. Their Insurance will not pay for damages even though the driver was found guilty in a Brighton court. So do I file in Adams county or in Seward County?

First, if you were hurt contact a member of the Colorado Assn for Justice for the county where it happened--they give free consults.
Technically, you can file either where it happened or where they do business. I'd go for the county where it happened.
Is there a law in Colorado citing that I have the right to ask my former employer to remove my likeness from their website, social media, and any other place that is used to promote to prospective employees and clients? The relationship I had with the employer was hostile and I would rather not be... Read more »

If you didn't sign an agreement to allow the employer to use your likeness in their advertising they do not have a right to do so. You should provide notice you do not want your likeness used. You'll probably end up needing to retain counsel to make them take it down.
The foster cannot be trusted and I need to get the dog back from her to the rescue. The foster was nice at first, said she wants to eventually adopt the dog. By regulations the dog can be adopted only after it is spayed. The clinic will be open in a few days and and appointment for spay can now be... Read more »

You can call the police and show them the paperwork that the dog is only a foster and that it belongs to the rescue. The police might help. Sometimes they don't, though. If they decline to help, then you will have to sue the foster in civil court to get the dog back. Sometimes a strongly worded... Read more »
We have goats, and various birds. Most of our property is fenced but the horses come up a creek bed loaded with old tires or up canyons on the far side of our property. We live in mountainous area, so cannot fully fence.

If the horses were on your property without your permission and the dogs do what they are there to do, no, you would not be liable. But, it will have to be very clear the horses were on your property and the dogs didn’t wander off your property.

There is a doctrine called laches on Colorado that may prevent interest on support after so many years. The person who would have standing to bring a child support claim would be the parent to whom the support should have been paid rather than the child.
the court is only enforcing visits, when the child should have been returned home to me anyways. He has kept my family and me away from the child for to long

It sounds like you may need the assistance of an attorney if you have filed the same action six times. It will be important to look at the last court order and determine whether he is in compliance or not. If he is not, then you can file a motion to enforce. If a modification is needed based on the... This depends on exactly what the divorce decree says. Do you get half of the profit or does she just need to refi/sell? You should consult with an attorney to review your paperwork and advise you how best to proceed.
