It depends on the court. Many courts have changed to Webex for COVID reasons. The Court will inform you and her of the hearing procedures. You could also check the court webpage and you can find information there are hearing procedures.

Q: My husband left a month after we were married without notice. How can i find out if he filed divorce so i can remarry

We married because he is the father of my daughter and was in this country on a student visa.

You would have been served with divorce papers if he had filed. If you want to remarry you may want to consult with an attorney who can help you with your divorce. Once the divorce is finalized then you will be able to remarry again.

Q: While jailed in VA could you attend TN court thru video & if sentenced serve both sentences concurrently in VA?

My fiancée is currently serving a two and a half year sentence in a Virginia jail with 15 months remaining from a 2019 Bristol VA arrest.

After she serves her time there, Tennessee will have a hold, extraditing her to resolve a prior charge occurring in Bristol TN.

It all depends on whether they are allowing transports into the jail or not.

Hire a competent MT attorney to search the Title, determine Heirship, and draft/record an Affidavit of Heirship.
