Q: Who so I contact in my area?

I was in a serious car accident. I have been sold two lemons from two different car lots. I feel that I have been mislead and taken advantage of by both of them. I am seeking the justice I deserve.

Contact an attorney to discuss your options. The lemon law only applies to new vehicles but there may be other avenues for you if the vehicles were used.

You would need to check on the existence of any Pet Lemon Law in CT. I would recommend checking with the CT Attorney General's Office. NY Lemon Law does not apply to out of state sales.

I would need to know more detail about the car and your agreement when you bought the car. You cannot get the guy arrested based on the facts you present. The woman you spoke to at the house doesn’t dictate whether you can sue. You don’t need to wait a year. Again, I would need more details... Read more »

You might possibly be able to get them to give you the car back if you make all past due payments plus pay late charges - but they can legally refuse to agree to do that, and they can demand you pay off the loan in full - just because of missing one payment. You loan agreement most likely says any... Read more »

However, that doesn't mean that a punishment involving jail time isn't possible, or even likely, it simple means it isn't required. If you are found guilty a judge can give 0 days in jail up to... You can probably find a general practice attorney who will take the case. Of importance to your case will be the representations made by the seller and whether you received a warranty or bought it "as is." One of their defenses will be whether you had a property inspection or not.
