In an effort to monitor migration effects on source and/or target performance, one or more traffic lights are determined to monitor utilization of resources of the source and/or target. Based on the one or more traffic lights, migration is dynamically throttled. The one or more traffic light may be assigned a status based on how the migration affects performance of another data operation which may be contemporaneously operating on either the source and/or the target.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments system of migration and validation. An embodiment operates by receiving an indication of a plurality of documents for migration from a legacy data format to a new data format of a computing system. A first set of data statistics corresponding to a selected one of the subset of documents prior to a performance of the migration, and a second set of data statistics corresponding to the selected document after the performance of the migration are determined. Both the first set of data statistics and the second set of data statistics side-by-side for the selected document are displayed. An indication whether the migration is validated or invalidated is received.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, apparatus, systems, and computer readable storage media for interacting with one or more data objects in an online social network. A user interface includes a publisher with a custom action. The custom action is defined in accordance with custom action instructions provided by a first entity via an application programming interface (API). Such custom action instructions may declaratively or programmatically define the data object, the interaction to be performed with the data object, and other attributes associated with the custom action. A user may request to interact with the data object via selection of the custom action by a second entity. Information may be submitted through the publisher to interact with the data object to update a database system associated with the data object. A feed item may be presented for inclusion in the information feed based on the update.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing displays of notifications to a user device. A method can include determining that an event has occurred that requires a user notification. One or more user and device characteristics are analyzed to determine whether a user notification is to be displayed on the user device.

Abstract: Embodiments of apparatus, systems, and methods are described for creating and managing an abstract, API-based infrastructure base model. The API-based model can abstract infrastructure assets, such as infrastructure components or connections between components, into a metadata model using standardized syntax and interfaces, for defining and building an infrastructure. Using a modeling document, connections and components of an infrastructure can be abstracted into an API-based model having semantics that covers them all. Connections and infrastructure components can be made available for selection, arrangement, and grouping to build complex infrastructure models without requiring complex API coding by the user. Other infrastructure models having different API definitions can be by abstracted to standardize the assets for building new APIs. The APIs can be further modified and exported to another or the same implementation project.

Abstract: A method for accessing a virtual personal assistant has been developed. First, a trust relationship is established between a primary smart speaker device that allows a user to access the virtual personal assistant with voice commands and a separate secondary smart speaker device. A trust relationship is established by generating a request at the secondary smart speaker device to allow access the virtual personal assistant with voice print authentication from the user and then validating the request at the primary smart speaker device to confirm the authenticity of the request. Next, a voice input is received from the user at the secondary smart speaker device requesting access to the virtual personal assistant. The identity of the user is verified using voice print identification with the secondary smart speaker device. Access for the user is then granted to the virtual personal assistant using the secondary smart speaker device.

Abstract: For a database accessible by a plurality of separate organizations, a system is provided for predicting entities for database query results. The system includes a multi-layer neural network. The system is configured to receive a query encoding for one or more previous queries made into the database, a user entity view frequency encoding for a frequency of views by one or more users, and an organization encoding for one or more separate organizations accessing the database; and based on the query encoding, the user entity view frequency encoding, and the organization encoding, generate a neural model for predicting entities for results to a present query into the database. In some embodiments, the neural model is global across the separate organizations accessing the database.

Abstract: Resolving a dynamic request from a local web component rendered on a development server executing on a user client device. A cache is located in the user client device and is accessible to the development server. The development server receives a first request for information from the local web component via a web browser, intercepts the first request at a proxy override module and transmits the first request to a cloud computing service provider's server. The development server receives a response from the cloud computing service provider's server in reply to the first request, transmits the response from the development server to the local web component, stores in the cache the response received at the development server from the cloud computing service provider's server in reply to the first request for information.

Abstract: A method involves utilizing a geo-locator service and zone servers to reduce server resource requirements for determining high quality solutions to routing problems. The use of a geo-locator service and zone servers enables the use of servers having less memory which can handle determination of high quality solutions to routing problems involving locations spanning a smaller geographic area even if they are incapable of handling determination of high quality solutions to routing problems involving locations spanning a larger geographic area, and enables efficient assignment of requests to an appropriate server without unduly burdening high value servers having sufficient memory to handle determination of high quality solutions to routing problems involving locations spanning a very large geographic area with determination of high quality solutions to routing problems involving locations spanning a smaller geographic area.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing a mixed-cart solution for an in-store app. An embodiment operates by receiving a request to add an item from a physical store to an associate shopping cart associated with an account. It is determined that the account is additionally associated with an online shopping cart associated with the store, and that the requested item does not exist in the online shopping cart. It selected item is added to the associate shopping cart. Both the online shopping cart and the associate shopping cart are provided to a computing device configured to simultaneously display both the online shopping cart and the associate shopping cart.

Abstract: System, method, and computer product embodiments are described for populating and managing a polymorphic favorites list from a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI provides an interface that allows a user to efficiently populate a favorites list and quickly access the favorites list via a global access point in a GUI, from anywhere in an application. The method enables the user to view objects in the favorites list, add objects to the favorites list, remove objects, and rearrange objects from the user's current application view as the user navigates across applications. The favorites list is configured to include a plurality of objects of a plurality of object types.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for receiving a command to define at least one mobilized object that implements a view for at least one mobile device of data retrieved from an on-demand service. An embodiment operates by receiving a component selection of a set of one or more components of the computing program for testing from a testing interface. A selection of a runtime environment in which to test the new component and the computing program is received from the testing interface. The test procedure is executed in the selected runtime environment to generate testing results. The testing results of the executing the test procedure in the selected runtime environment are provided via the testing interface.

Abstract: A messaging system is provided that includes a first message server, a second message server and a distributed database system that stores a blockchain. The first message server receives a message from a first user system, and records at least one selected component of the received message into a block of the blockchain stored in the distributed database system. When the second message server receives the message from the first message server, the second message server can determine whether a component from the received message matches the selected component that is stored in the block of the blockchain.

Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to an end-to-end neural network for question answering, referred to herein as “dynamic coattention network (DCN)”. Roughly described, the DCN includes an encoder neural network and a coattentive encoder that capture the interactions between a question and a document in a so-called “coattention encoding”. The DCN also includes a decoder neural network and highway maxout networks that process the coattention encoding to estimate start and end positions of a phrase in the document that responds to the question.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for providing a functionality which is selectable to undo one or more changes to metadata in a computing environment. In an embodiment, one or more source objects, stored by a version control system (VCS), represent one or more previous metadata changes. In response to a detection of the one or more metadata changes, an element of a user interface is configured to be selectable for undoing the one or more metadata changes. In another embodiment, a subsequent selection of the element invokes a retrieval of the one or more source objects from the VCS. Based on the retrieval of the one or more source objects from the VCS, a compilation is performed to generate a program which is executed to undo the one or more metadata changes.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to identifying duplicate coding and/or design used in different parts of a user interface (e.g., a web application). In some embodiments, a plurality of visible elements of an interface are detected based on hierarchical user interface code. In some embodiments, a device groups sets of the plurality of visible elements based on determined coordinates and depth levels for the detected elements. In some embodiments, groups that meet a threshold similarity criterion are identified. In some embodiments the threshold similarity criterion is based on classification of detected elements and/or geospatial analysis.

Abstract: A system may include a mocking server and one or more tenants served by the mocking server. A tenant may test an application programming interface (API) using a mocking service. For example, the mocking server may run a mock implementation of an API based on an API specification, and the server may expose an endpoint of the mock implementation for API testing. In some cases, the API specification may use an additional service. The mocking server may need an implementation for this additional service in order to test the API. For improved efficiency and reliability of the mocking service, the mocking server may store pre-configured mock implementations for various service or complementary APIs, which can be publicly accessed and shared across multiple different tenants. The pre-configured mock implementations may enable a user to test an API without providing a mock implementation for each additional service indicated in the API specification.

Abstract: A data processing server may receive a set of data objects for frequent pattern (FP) analysis. The set of data objects may be analyzed using an attribute diversity technique. For the set of data attributes of the set of data objects, the server may arrange the attributes in one or more dimensions. The server may initialize a set of centroids on data points and identify mean values of nearby data points. Based on an iteration of the mean value calculation, the server may identify a set of attributes corresponding to final mean values as being groups of similarly frequent attributes. These groups of similarly frequent attributes may be analyzed using an FP analysis procedure to identify frequent patterns of data attributes.

Each DB entity (record) in component databases (DB) is represented as a judgment, and an MDM system unifies judgments obtained from the component DBs into a unified set of judgments. In the unified set of judgments, linkages are judgments asserting that particular DB entities from different DBs are the same/similar, and a golden record comprises field values describing each of the DB entities. In making judgments, the MDM system consolidates judgments (or records) describing the same subject into a single judgment, and performs updates to field values in a manner that does not violate referential integrity. Updates in the form of judgments are provided to the relevant component DBs, which are converted into serializable transactions associated with respective MDM consistent states. The system is configured to receive a data object in one of the plurality of runtime environments, wherein the data object is capable of being encrypted using a content encryption key and determine an encryption module implemented in the encryption framework that is compatible with the one of the plurality of runtime environment, wherein the encryption module comprises a key service provider that provides a master key and a key wrapping algorithm for the content encryption key in the runtime environment. The system is further configured to encrypt the data object using the content encryption key, encrypt the content encryption key using the master key and key wrapping algorithm, and write the encrypted data object to networked database storage.

The first database node is indicated as available in response to a pre-selected number of successful attempts to contact the first database node with the first enabler agent. The first database node is accessed with the application server in response to the indication that the first database node is available.

Abstract: Methods and systems for query optimization for a multi-tenant database system are provided. Some embodiments comprise receiving at a network interface of a server in a multi-tenant database system an original query transmitted to the multi-tenant database system by a user associated with a tenant, wherein the original query is associated with data accessible by the tenant, and wherein the multi-tenant database system includes at least a first index and a second index. Metadata associated with the data is retrieved, wherein at least a portion of the data is stored in a common table within the multi-tenant database system. A tenant-selective query syntax is determined by analyzing at least one of metadata generated from information about the tenant or metadata generated from the data accessible by the tenant.

A first content source can manage and store a plurality of first content items for potential inclusion in a specific release that is published as web content. Each content item can include one or more of: a set of directions for rendering web content and actual content that is rendered as web content. A content publishing module can store a manifest record that specifies release items that are allowed to be part of the specific release, and receive a content package object, from the first content source, that includes the first content items. It can then extract selected ones of first content items that are specified in the manifest record, and add them into a release object so that they are included as part of the specific release.

A first scratch organization is generated based on a designated set of metadata defining at least a set of privileges for the first scratch organization. Test data is loaded into the first scratch organization from a source external to the first scratch organization. A designated test sequence is performed on the first scratch organization using test data. The test operations are defined by structures external to the first scratch organization and utilize the test data to generate test results. The first scratch organization is destroyed after extracting the test results. A second scratch organization is generated based on the designated set of metadata cause the second scratch organization to have the set of privileges.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dense captioning of a video include a multi-layer encoder stack configured to receive information extracted from a plurality of video frames, a proposal decoder coupled to the encoder stack and configured to receive one or more outputs from the encoder stack, a masking unit configured to mask the one or more outputs from the encoder stack according to one or more outputs from the proposal decoder, and a decoder stack coupled to the masking unit and configured to receive the masked one or more outputs from the encoder stack.
