Bill Evans is a partner in the Labor and Employment group and head of the Dorsey Anchorage office.  Bill’s practice includes a full range of employment litigation defense as well as traditional management-side labor law.  In addition, Bill’s practice includes a significant component of construction-based litigation and general commercial litigation.

Representative Litigation

• International Longshore and Warehouse Union v. Alaska Maritime Employers Association (Alaska Superior Court) - Representation of defendant employer group in breach of collective bargaining agreement lawsuit brought by ILWU.
• Belfor USA Group, Inc. v. R.J. Kenney Associates (U.S. District Court for Alaska) - Representation of prime contractor in construction litigation dispute stemming from reconstruction work on the Alaska SeaLife Center.
• Horizon Lines LLC  - Represented company in negotiation and arbitration of preferential use agreement regarding publicly controlled port facility.
