Most of the industry is cookie-cutter, based on standard makes,... Read more »

Of course you can. While I am licensed in the state of New York, I am sure that Maine has a crime that covers the intentional destruction of someone else's property. In NY it is referred to as Criminal Mischief.

Go to your local police station and file a police report. It may be...

Tim Akpinar
Tim Akpinar answered on Feb 26, 2021

A Georgia attorney could advise best, as there could be applicable state laws. But as a GENERAL premise, if the hospital acted to protect the safety and lives of everyone on site, it's actions could probably be justified on the basis of necessity. For a more meaningful answer based on Georgia... Read more »

The answer depends on the circumstances. For example, if you borrow someone's bike, leave it unsecured on your property, and it gets stolen, yes, I think you're responsible. If someone leaves their bike unsecured on your property, you're not responsible.

You should go to the police and ask about registering it. If they want it, give it to them and get a receipt. YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE AN UNREGISTERED FIREARM in your posession.

If it is wrapped up and not easy to use, it should be OK. You can always get a long wide mailing tube or a carboard footer tube cut to length and put it in that.

Arthur Calderon answered on Feb 18, 2021

If it's a misdemeanor charge, there is a good chance that a lawyer could work it out with a prosecutor to where trial is avoided and the charge does not go on your record. That being said, if you had nothing to do with the underlying crime, then you should seriously consider taking it to trial.
