Q: How much the cost ?
Peter N. Munsing
Peter N. Munsing answered on Mar 6, 2021

You haven't asked a question. If you mean how much does it cost for a trade mark registration, technically you may do it yourself IF you can do all the research necessary. Why not just survey some firms? You can also try services like Legal Zoom.

Q: how much do it cost to trademark my cosmetic company name?

im looking to trademark my company name and I was advised to get a lawyer so I wanted to know a average estimate of how much trademarking my business name will cost? and when I do trademark it in my country will the protection of my trademark work in other countries as well?

Evelyn Suero
Evelyn Suero answered on Mar 6, 2021

The application fee for trademark registration with the USPTO is $250-$350 per trademark, per class. Attorney fees vary but it is recommended that you work with an attorney. Trademark registration in one country doesn't provide registration in another country.

Q: I would like to trademark “KOUTURE” is this available. Also what are the steps to trademarking anything

A trademark attorney can help break this down for you. Most of them over charge their clients and don’t really give a s*** about your business beyond the trademark filing. Call me if you want a fair price on your trademark and someone who wants to plug in as a legit partner in your company’s growth.

Q: Is selling score sheets for let's say "Yahtzee" or "scrabble" can cause me any trademark problems?

I'm a print-on-demand seller on KDP Amazon, and I want to sell score sheets for some games such as Yahtzee, scrabble knowing that these terms are owned by Hasbro, am I facing a problem if started selling these using: Yahtzee score sheets for example.

You may receive a nasty letter from them if you directly copy their existing score sheets and attempt to re-sell them. Even if you remove their logos and just re-print the exact design layout of the sheet, they could raise a copyright/trade dress issue with you. All that being said, those companies... Read more »

The application itself will cost $250-$350 for each "class" of goods and services that you file in. For example, if you offer candles for sale, and candle making classes under the trademark "Wickzy", you would likely want to file in both classes in the same application. Many... Read more »

You should make a consultation with an attorney to review this.

If you have a registration then that is one thing. If it is just an application still to be decided, then that calls for a different strategy.

Best luck.
