Q: My daughter is 18 and leaving for the military. Can I be taken off child support? We live in Alabama.

Is she considered emancipated, leaving at 18 for the military?

Try contacting the issuers of the stock dividend checks and tell them that your parents are deceased. Provide death certificates and letters of administration and get them to re-issue the checks to you as PR of the estate(s) and then you can deposit the dividend checks to the estate account.

Q: My nephew is paralyzed from a stroke - no assets or insurance. Can an attorney expedite SSD and Medicare benefits?

He is 50 with a 15 year old. Has not been employed for a couple of years. Brook wood is trying to move him as soon as they can find a facility that will take him without insurance, may even be out of state. He is not getting the physical therapy he needs.

If you go to trial, the prosecutor has to prove that you are guilty of speeding beyond a reasonable doubt. Hire a competent attorney to determine heirship. He then drafts an Affidavit of Heirship to be placed of record as your (and other heirs') source of title. Send a certified copy of the recorded Affidavit to the Mortgagee.

Q: Does a POA have to be signed to be valid? We signed the assignment section & notarized but didn't sign back page.

My brother has ALS. He cannot sign the POA back page. He signed the 1st page in 2019. It was notarized and we just simply skipped right over the back page signature. Is it valid?
