if you purchased the vehicle with a warranty the dealership should be given the opportunity to fix the issues. If you purchased it as is but it was sold with issues that needed to be disclosed, you can sue them in small claims. Small claims is appropriate for anything under $10,000. Lawyers are... Q: You I bought a car a month ago. I went to a dealership. Since buying the car it has broke down on me 3 times,

I’ve had multiple issues, major issues. The car was as is but i did purchase a warranty. The dealership refuses to even talk to me. I asked for a CARFAX report and he says he gave me one but he didn’t. He refuses to give me one, i ended up buying one. What legal rights do i have?

You should seek counsel familiar with Maryland’s Lemon Law. It is tricky but I have found that once counsel gets involved, the buyer gets a response. Again there are certain procedural and timing requirements that competent counsel can assist you with.

Don’t give her a dime back snd if she sues you, you can counterclaim and win. She has committed a continuing breach snd her liability continues to increase.

Q: I bought a used vehicle with 68,000 miles on it & it started leaking oil 2 wks after & it has a warranty but not factory

Contact an attorney to discuss your options. The lemon law only applies to new vehicles but there may be other avenues for you if the vehicles were used.

Q: What can we do about a baby hedgehog purchased from a dealer in CT, which died five days later? Necropsy showed abnormal

Necropsy done by the veterinarian showed abnormal kidneys. Breeder refused to refund $$ and to provide a replacement hedgehog. Implied Duty of Warrantability?

You would need to check on the existence of any Pet Lemon Law in CT. I would recommend checking with the CT Attorney General's Office. NY Lemon Law does not apply to out of state sales.

You might possibly be able to get them to give you the car back if you make all past due payments plus pay late charges - but they can legally refuse to agree to do that, and they can demand you pay off the loan in full - just because of missing one payment. No, petit larceny as a third offense is a class 6 Felony. There is no mandatory jail time.
