Abstract: A geo-analytical program is integrated into a customer relationship management (CRM) solution. Via the geo-analytical program, users are able to define layer configuration settings for a layer for plotting on a map-based GUI. Layer configuration settings for a respective layer comprise an indication of a data object type serving as a base object type for the respective layer. A method involves receiving from a user user-defined configuration settings for a first layer, electronically receiving, at a geospatial computer system, geospatial data for a plurality of connected devices; electronically receiving, at the geo-analytical program from the geospatial computer system, real-time geospatial data for the plurality of connected devices; and utilizing, by the geo-analytical program, the user-defined layer configuration settings for the first layer to plot the first layer on the map-based GUI based on the received real-time geospatial data for the plurality of connected devices.

Abstract: Cloud services release orchestration with a reusable deployment pipeline. According to some implementations, responsive to receiving from a COS controller parameters from configuration information provided to the COS controller while an app aware proxy routes production traffic to a first application (app) version that communicates with a database management system (DBMS) and that runs in container orchestration system (COS) pods having first app version containers, causing a validation of a second app version using COS pods having second app version containers that are now live after having been brought up by the COS controller responsive to the provision of the configuration information. After the validation, causing the transition to sending production traffic to the second app version containers that are determined to be live instead of to the first app version containers.

Abstract: A request may be received to migrate an organization from a first computing pod to a second computing pod located within an on-demand computing services organization configured to provide computing services. A migration resource utilization profile may be determined for the first computing pod. The migration resource utilization profile may identify one or more computing resources involved in transferring organizations from the first computing pod during one or more time windows. A migration time window for performing the requested migration may be selected based at least in part on the migration resource utilization profile.

Abstract: A resource utilization level and a data size may be determined for each organization within a computing pod located within an on-demand computing services organization configured to provide computing services. One of the organizations may be selected for migration away from the computing pod based on the resource utilization levels and the data sizes. The designated organization may have a respective resource utilization level that is high in relation to its respective data size.

Abstract: An alerting system is provided that includes a network of transformation nodes, and state change processors. The transformation nodes include input transformation nodes, output transformation nodes, and intermediate nodes that connect the input and output transformation nodes. Each input transformation node can receive an events stream, and is coupled to one of the output transformation nodes by one or more intermediate transformation nodes. Each transformation node (except the input transformation nodes) can receive state updates from those transformation nodes that it subscribes to. Each output transformation node can generate a check result when stored state information for each of the transformation nodes that the output transformation node subscribes to collectively indicates that the check result should be generated.

Abstract: A method is provided for processing a query. In some embodiments, the method includes creating a historical schema defining an ordered set of fields based on a current schema of an object and a field modification of the current schema. The method includes inserting, based on the field modification, a new field at an end of the historical schema and archiving records into a second storage device. The method includes receiving a query, which includes a command specifying a subset of fields and which indicates a non-current field. The method includes searching in the second storage device for archive records having a second schema including the subset of fields and the non-current field. The first and second schemas follow the field order in accordance with the historical schema. The method further includes accessing the subset of fields and the non-current field in accordance with the command.

Abstract: A database system is arranged to support collaboration among users of a file in a feed system of a multi-user social network database driven system, wherein at least some of the users are permitted to upload a file to the feed from a remote computing device, and other users may have permission to collaborate on modifying the file. A sync client application executable on a remote user machine enables an authorize user to select “sync all files in the feed,” which triggers (a) download of the latest version of all files in the feed from the cloud to all users associated with the feed, and (b) subsequent automatic synchronization of the files by selectively uploading to the cloud database a modified local copy of the file from a user machine, and then downloading a latest version of the modified file to all of the users associated with the feed.

Abstract: System and methods are described to parse input source code and generate a tree representing the input source code, optimize the tree by determining reusable sub-trees of the tree and replacing the reusable sub-trees with variables, and transpile the optimized tree to generate output source code.

Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of methods and apparatus for managing services within a computer network. In one embodiment, a message interchange network for exchanging application-level messages between services, which are located outside the message interchange network, is provided. At the message interchange network, a plurality of application-level messages, which each specify which one or more receiving services are to receive the each application-level message, are received. Each received application-level message is forward towards the one or more receiving services. Correlation information regarding each application-level message that is received into message interchange network is retained. The application-level messages are sent between pairs of the services, and the retained correlation information for each application-level message pertains to each application-level message and any other application-level messages related to the each application-level message.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating dynamic selection and application for rules for query processing for large datasets in an on-demand services environment according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method comprises determining processing patterns of a query based on historical performances associated with the query placed on behalf of a tenant in a multi-tenant environment, and dynamically applying one or more rules to the query for processing of the query within a predictable amount of time, where the one or more rules are dynamically selected from sets of rules based on the processing patterns. The method may further include executing the query based on the one or more rules by scanning one or more portions of a database having contents pertinent to the query and generating results by processing the query based on the contents and within the predictable amount of time.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments are related to blockchain asset token management systems, and in particular, to Multiple Decentralized Tokenization with Personal Control (MDTPC). MDTPC allows users to determine how and when asset token evaluation is performed, and also allows users to determine which token management services they wish to use to manage and store their asset token and related data. In embodiments, multiple blockchain token management services are utilized in conjunction with individual digital wallets to share token data and validate ownership of tokens. A registry service is used to ensure visibility of tokens across multiple token management services, which increases the likelihood of identifying the rightful owner of asset tokens. Abstract: A database system performs lookalike analysis on a data set including a plurality of user identifiers, which are associated with one or more attribute records. The database system classifies the user identifiers into one or more segments of user identifiers based on the attribute records. The database system performs Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) to calculate a measure of importance of the attribute records relative to the one or more segments. The database system auto-correlates the attribute records based on the numbers of attribute records in the user identifier population and the one or more segments. The database system identifies a set of user identifiers relative to one or more segments using the measures of importance and the auto-correlated parameters.

Abstract: A computer implemented method manages access to resources of a philanthropy cloud platform. The method includes retrieving, at a computing device of the philanthropy cloud platform, context data and load policies for a requestor and an identified resource, combining, by the computing device, loaded policies with context data into a combined data structure, evaluating, by the computing device, a resource request and apply policies for requestor based on role of requestor using the combined data structure, generating, by the computing device, resource permissions for the requestor, and returning, by the computing device, resource permissions to the requestor.

Abstract: A data processing system analyzes a corpus of conversation data collected at an interactive conversation service to train an intent classification model. The intent classification model generates vectors based on the corpus of conversation data. A set of intents is selected and an intent seed input for each intent of the set of intents is input into the model to generate an intent vector corresponding to each intent. Vectors based on user inputs are generated and compared to the intent vectors to determine the intent.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving, at a database system having a memory and at least one persistent storage device to store records, a query for a least one record, where the query uses a first version of a manifest, and where each version of the records that are stored in the at least one persistent storage device are represented by metadata that is part of the first version of the manifest. A first operation may be performed based on a scan operation. The database system may determine whether a purge of the memory has occurred after the first operation. When it is determined that the memory purge has occurred, the scan operation may be restarted from a last position of the scan operation prior to the memory purge using a second version of the manifest.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating early detection and warning for system bottlenecks in an on-demand services environment according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method includes detecting waits during processing of a query within a processing pipeline, wherein the waits include one or more of application-specific waits and database-specific waits; diagnosing the waits to identify a wait that has turned into a bottleneck; classifying one or more types of issues causing the wait to turn into the bottleneck; generating an alert having associated information detailing the issues based on the one or more types and a location of the wait within the processing pipeline; and transmitting the alert to facilitate correction activities.

Abstract: A system selects multiple operators in a query graph by determining whether a corresponding value satisfies a threshold for each operator. The system sorts each selected operator in an ascending order based on a corresponding maximum thread capacity and determines an average number of threads of control based on available threads and the selected operators. The system allocates an initial number of threads to an initial selected operator in the ascending order, the initial number based on a minimum of the average number of threads and corresponding maximum thread capacity. The system determines a revised average number of threads based on remaining number of available threads and remaining number of the selected operators and allocates a next number of threads to a next selected operator in the ascending order, the next number based on a minimum of the revised average number of threads and corresponding maximum thread capacity.

Abstract: A data processing system analyzes a corpus of conversation data collected at an interactive conversation service to train an intent classification model. The intent classification model generates vectors based on the corpus of conversation data. In one implementation, an information update is selected for comparison with a data record creation rule. The data record creation rule may specify a data record creation operation for creating a data record based the selected information update. The selected information update may be capable of being displayed in an information feed. A determination may be made as to whether the selected information update includes information satisfying a trigger condition associated with the data record creation rule. When the information in the selected information update satisfies the trigger condition, the data record creation operation may be performed to create the data record. The data record creation operation may identify information to include in the data record.

Abstract: Described is a system and method for compacting data into customized (e.g. optimal) file sizes for processing by computing resources. The mechanism may leverage various computing resources such as a cluster computing frameworks combined with a stream processing platform to efficiently process the activity data. For example, activity data of an organization may be processed by a set of jobs (or sub-jobs) as part of a data stream by a set of distributed computing resources. In order to efficiently process such data, the mechanism may compact the data into customized (e.g. optimal) file sizes. For example, the customized file sizes may provide an optimal (or near optimal) amount of data to be processed by each job, for example, to improve performance.

Abstract: A minimal distinguishing prefix (MDP) is computed for terms included in a list of terms. The MDP for a term is the minimal prefix that differentiates the term from the immediately preceding term. Lengths of the computed MPDs are compared, and a set of MDPs is selected for inclusion in a trie. A trie generator generates a trie including a plurality of leaf nodes based on the selected MDPs, where each leaf node in the trie corresponds to a respective one of the selected MDPs, such that the terms accessible through a particular leaf node include the term corresponding to the respective one of the selected MDPs and any other terms positioned in the list between that term and a term corresponding to a next one of the selected MDPs in the trie.

Abstract: A messaging system is provided that includes a first message server, a second message server and a distributed database system that stores a blockchain. The first message server receives a message from a first user system, and records at least one selected component of the message into a block of the blockchain stored in the distributed database system. When the second message server receives the message from the first message server, the second message server can determine whether a component from the message matches the selected component that is stored in the block of the blockchain.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for determining the status of instances and update applications to reflect the updated statuses of instances, in real-time. In an embodiment, each instance may enable a service to determine the status of an instance. A core application server may load server pool configurations including a status of an instance. The status indicates the instance is live. Core application server may read a gate definition of the instance using the service enabled on the instance. Core application server may determine that a current status of the instance is virtual, based on the gate definition of the instance. The core application may a local cache of core application server to reflect that the current status of the instance is virtual and propagate to applications executed on other instances and core application server.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for enabling a user to query a database using natural language and receive results without requiring the user to manipulate or know details of the database contents. The user is guided in the creation of the natural language query by suggested predetermined queries from a template. Natural language is parsed using the template. The approach allows a user's query words to be completed automatically from the template as the user inputs the words. The approach further allows the next suggested parts of the query to be automatically typed from the template ahead of the user's cursor. Other features provide feedback to the user for invalid or irrelevant queries that cannot be parsed, including suggesting complete predetermined queries from the template. The approach helps the user focus the query on exactly what the user seeks to learn from the database without complex, process-intensive parsing.

Abstract: A set of hardware security modules (HSMs) in a database system may implement a key management system with a database storing encryption keys or other secrets. The set of HSMs may identify a first key encryption key (KEK) and a second KEK stored in the set of HSMs. The set of HSMs may retrieve, from the database, a set of encryption keys encrypted by the first KEK and decrypt each encryption key of the set of encryption keys using the first KEK. The set of HSMs may re-encrypt each encryption key of the set of encryption keys with the second KEK and transmit, to the database, the set of encrypted encryption keys encrypted by the second KEK for storage. Then, the set of HSMs may delete the first KEK from the set of HSMs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for processing and answering a natural language query at a database server are described. An end user may submit a question in natural language over a communication platform. An answer engine running on the database server may receive the question, and may process the content of the question using natural language processing (NLP) techniques. The answer engine may construct a search query based on the NLP, and may retrieve a set of documents from a database using the search query. The answer engine may rank the documents, prune the number of documents, modify the documents for the given communication platform, or perform any combination of these functions. In some cases, an intermediate user may review the documents, and may select one or more documents for publication. The answer engine may send the selected documents to the end user as answers in response to the question.

A thread server may receive a communication message associated with a first set of user identifiers (e.g., the author and recipients of the message) and may extract a thread identifier from the message. The thread identifier may associate the message with one or more additional messages (e.g., from the same thread of messages), where the one or more additional messages may be associated with different user identifiers. The thread server may upsert the received communication message to a stored set of messages associated with a root indicating the thread identifier. If the thread server receives a query indicating the thread identifier from a user, the thread server may retrieve all of the messages associated with the thread identifier from persistent memory based on the query, including messages that are not associated with the user identifier for the querying user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for implementing a modulate runtime environment (MRTE) are described. The MRTE includes multiple layers that communicate with one another using messages that are routed by connectors. A computer system may implement an MTRE that includes a platform-specific visualization layer and a data layer, which may include a headless execution engine. The data layer may be implemented by multiple types of computing platforms, and the platform-specific visualization layer may be replaced for different computing platforms. Abstract: Embodiments of apparatus, systems, and methods are described for creating and managing an abstract, API-based infrastructure base model. The API-based model can abstract infrastructure assets, such as infrastructure components or connections between components, into a metadata model using standardized syntax and interfaces, for defining and building an infrastructure. Using a modeling document, connections and components of an infrastructure can be abstracted into an API-based model having semantics that covers them all. Connections and infrastructure components can be made available for selection, arrangement, and grouping to build complex infrastructure models without requiring complex API coding by the user. Other infrastructure models having different API definitions can be by abstracted to standardize the assets for building new APIs. The APIs can be further modified and exported to another or the same implementation project.

Abstract: A method of generating digital data content customized for a user of one or more digital data platforms includes determining, through artificial intelligence, interests of a first user of the one or more digital data platforms, as well as those of a plurality of other users. The method further includes generating a product recommendation for the first user by mapping and filtering, e.g., using ontological filtering, natural language processing and/or semantics, the interests determined for the plurality of other users to the interests determined for the first user, and transferring the product recommendation, along with inventory availability, to a client digital data device for presentation to the first user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for lazy tracking mechanisms for web caching systems are provided. The lazy tracking mechanism may track and perform asynchronous (async) computation of dirty records for client-side caching mechanisms. The async computation of dirty records may include tracking or accounting for invalidated records relevant to a particular client or user system. Invalidation messages may be sent to client/user systems in response to receipt of a request for updated records, or in response to a request for a particular item. Abstract: Network performance data, such as routing trip time between autonomous systems and data centers, is gathered and aggregated to determine optimal mappings of autonomous systems and data centers. Autonomous system based DNS steering may be automated by repeating a life cycle of determining the optimal mappings. Data delivery strategies are applied to a portion of a network to deliver content using the optimal mappings.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for analyzing communication messages (e.g., emails) and selecting corresponding actions are described. In some database systems, a user may receive multiple messages at a user device. To efficiently determine responses to these messages, the user device may send the messages to a backend server for analysis. The server may perform natural language processing (NLP) to classify the message with one or more binary classifications and may extract metadata from each message. Based on the classifications and the metadata, the server may determine one or more actions the user device may perform to respond to each message. The server may send instructions to the user device indicating the suggested actions, and the user device may display these actions as options to a user. Additionally, the user device may use the classifications and metadata to automatically generate one or more communication templates in response to the message.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments are related to Application Programming Interface (API) technologies, and in particular, to Order APIs that are used to make modifications and cancelations to existing order objects. The Order APIs can be used to retrieve the current state of an order object, retrieve the summarized state of an order object as of a specified date, and retrieve a potential state of an order object along with specified changes. The Order APIs are also used to process order changes including changes to the quantity of an existing order object and applying line item changes to an existing order object. The computing platform is configurable to cause identifying a data event associated with a user based on an interaction between the user and a user interface, and generating a segment data object based on the data event, a unique user identifier, and a segment database, the segment data object characterizing a membership of the user within an audience segment. The computing platform is also configurable to cause identifying a content data network server based on a geographical location of the user, the content data network server being a closest available content data network server to the user, and the content data network server being capable of serving, to the user, one or more data objects associated with metadata customized based on one or more segment data objects, and updating a local storage location of the content data network server.
