  • Patent number: 11089534
Abstract: Communication systems can enhance customer experience by quickly and efficiently associating and disassociating radio access technologies (RATs) from available networks in a deployment. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) can optimize usage of a PLMN selector file (e.g., HPLMNwACT) stored within the subscriber identity module (SIM) that comprises a combination of mobile country code/mobile network code (MCC/MNC) data and RAT data (e.g., customized based on mobile network operator (MNO) requirements and/or deployments). Moreover, during PLMN selection, the UE can only search for a RAT that is associated with a MCC/MNC combination, resulting in faster PLMN selection and reduced UE resource consumption. Further, the PLMN selector file can be modified based on MNO preferences via an over-the-air update.

  • Patent number: 11088745
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards indicating to a receiver (e.g., a user equipment) which antenna ports are assigned for channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS). The indicator can be sent as radio resource control configuration data and/or by physical layer signaling such as in downlink control information. The receiver computes CSI based on the assigned antenna port or ports, and the reported (e.g., joint) CSI helps avoid mismatched joint CSI used for scheduling when multiple transmit and receive points (TRPs) are communicating with the user equipment.

  • Patent number: 11086760
Abstract: Systems and methods for delta state tracking for event stream analysis. Events at a device are tracked and stored locally or forwarded to a server. The events collectively form an event stream. When an event of interest occurs, the precise configuration of a device at the time of the event of interest can be determined by applying the event stream in chronological or reverse chronological order to a snapshot of the device's configuration. Thus, the snapshot can be taken at any time. Tracking the deltas to the device's configuration enables the precise configuration at the time of the event of interest to be determined.

  • Patent number: 11088827
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to location-based blockchain. A localized corroborator system can receive, from a user device, an initiation message including a public key, and in response, can generate and send the random session identifier to the user device. The system can receive, from the user device, a signed session identifier including the random session identifier signed by the user device using a private key. The system can check a time that elapsed between sending the random session identifier to the user device and receiving the signed session identifier from the user device. The system can verify authenticity of the signed session identifier using the public key. In response to the time being less than a pre-defined threshold, the system can issue a location certificate to the user device. The user device can utilize the location certificate to conduct a certified blockchain transaction in a blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11087887
Abstract: Systems and methods mediate anomaly notifications in health data to health alerts using data structures and logic to organize, contain, and dispose of identified health anomalies. Multiple detection algorithms, operating asynchronously and independently, run against one or more health data streams. Examples of data streams are electronic laboratory requisitions and results, OTC sales of medicines and medical supplies, emergency department visit data, and others. The outputs of anomaly detection generators—anomaly notifications (anomalies)—are processed by the invention. The case manager organizes anomaly notifications and supports collaborative decision making and disposition among expert users.

  • Patent number: 11082117
Abstract: A test transmission can be used to train and/or select a signal. For example, a cellular network can configure a receiver with a recommended receiver signal sweeping pattern for mobile devices. A transmitter device can duplicate a data packet transmission and send it to a receiver device to ensure that the receiver can receive the duplicated packets from different signals. Consequently, the duplicated data packet can be indicated in the associated control channel so that the receiver is aware that the data packet is a duplicated transmission, and based on this info and configuration data, the receiver can select a more favorable signal.

  • Patent number: 11082279
Abstract: Because the number of transmitted layers can vary dynamically, the number of transmitted demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) can also vary. However, because the network node can know the number of ports, transmitted layers, or the rank, the network node can utilize the number as part of the scheduling information via a downlink or an uplink control channel. Therefore, the DMRS sequence generation can modified such that it depends on the number of ports, transmitted layers, or the rank, thereby generating a different random sequence for different ports.

  • Patent number: 11082951
Abstract: Adjusting the power of an uplink transmission based on duty cycle and proximity sensor information is disclosed. The duty cycle represents the ratio of uplink transmission time slots to downlink transmission time slots in a defined period of time. Thus, if during a time period the percentage of uplink transmission is low, then not as much of a power reduction is implemented. If the percentage of uplink transmission is high, then an increased power reduction can be implemented to ensure that the MPE is not exceeded. This duty cycle information can be paired with proximity sensor data to determine whether a person is present. If no person is present, then no power reductions need to be implemented, and if a person is present, then various levels of power reduction can be implemented based on the duty cycle.

  • Patent number: 11082329
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards lossless delivery of data when there are route changes, e.g., in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) multi-hop relay network. When a route changes is to occur, the last unchanged node in a multiple hop route preserves the data (e.g., copies unacknowledged and unsent PDCP PDUs from the protocol stack corresponding to the radio link control layer of the failed relay hop, and populates a replacement protocol stack for the node in the new route with the preserved data. Also described is pre-emptive detection of link failure, which triggers a route change based on monitoring retransmissions to detect a deteriorating link, which can occur before complete link communication failure.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a preliminary transmission received from a first wireless access terminal of a wireless network, at a mobile terminal, wherein the obtaining of the preliminary transmission occurs before a successful completion of an attachment process between the mobile terminal and the first wireless access terminal, and wherein access to a network resource by the mobile terminal via the wireless network requires a successful completion of the attachment process. A physical relationship is determined between the mobile terminal and the first wireless access terminal according to the preliminary transmission, resulting in a determined physical relationship. The determined physical relationship is compared to a predetermined threshold value to obtain a comparison result and successful completion of the attachment process is prevented based on the comparison result indicating a suspect condition. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a customer premises equipment (CPE) device from a data source, media content requested by a media device. The method includes determining, at the CPE device, a number of concurrent media connections to establish to the media device based on a workload of the customer premises device. The method includes establishing the number of concurrent communication connections between the CPE device and the media device. The method also includes sending the media content as data packets via data packet streams to the media device from the customer premises equipment device. A data packet stream of the data packet streams is sent via each communication connection of the concurrent communication connections. Each data packet stream includes less than all data packets of the media content, and the media device processes the data packets received via the data packet streams to generate media content output.
