I have to answer this before the end of august

This is a Georgia state statute located in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. This provision states the following

My husband purchased our house in Indiana a few months before we got married (over 10 years ago). Am I entitled to half? Does he have to sell the house and split the profits with me? The house has gone up in value. My annual income is around $80.000. Would I be financially responsible for my... Read more »

If the home was purchased before the marriage it would be considered non-marital. But, if you or your husband have been making payments on the home during the marriage or have made improvements on the home during the marriage there may be a marital component to the home which would provide you with... Your spouse does not need to agree. You just file for divorce and indicate that the marriage is irretrievably broken.
Trying to figure out how long a parenting plan is usually scheduled for. A year, 6 months or maybe even less?

I like to do a parenting plan that covers timesharing until the child is 18 years old.
My ex's job has her traveling quire a bit and she constantly wants to change our week to week schedule. She would like to do a parenting plan only a month or two in advance however I would be fine with a year, excluding summers. It is a constant source of conflict.

Typically a parenting plan is done based on the current best interests of the child. If it needs to be modified in the future then the person seeking modification files with the court to do so and holds the burden of proving that it should be modified. It is not common for a parenting plan to... Read more »
I have asked via phone, email, and text. What options do I have?

If I were you, I would file a Motion for Contempt. This motion will put him on notice quickly, that you are NOT playing games and if he continues to play "keep away," he may actually end of spending time in jail.
down plus put additional funds from my parents into property to make it livable. Husband signed quit deed to me a closing via title company. He is in prison now. I filed for divorce, he wants half of the equity in house as community property.

Idaho is one of 9 states which have "community property laws." This means that from the date of marriage until divorce or death, everything purchased, from cars to houses, belong equally to both husband and wife. Of course, parties often attempt to "over rule" those laws, as... Read more »
Got along great with ex. So much so she moved across the street. We have 50/50. I got a girlfriend around Christmas and now she is bitter and cold. Always bashing me on social media. Flew our kid from FL to CA for 3 days to see her bf without permission when she was supposed to be in KY with... Read more »

The only lawyer who could possibly help you is the lawyer who handled your side of the divorce, because s/he was successful in getting you to 50/50.
From my own personal experience the best any father of a female child can expect is 50/50, which is where you are. So why rock the boat if... Read more »
My wife and I have had a guardianship of a little boy for almost 6 years. We filed adoption almost 2 years ago, bio mom signed consent. Bio dad showed up to 1 of 3 mediations and 30% of visitations.
Divorce looks imminent for us, but we want to make sure our boy is safe with us.

Technically, if the adoption is not final before you divorce then it will become an issue, as the statute does not allow two single people to adopt the same child. It can be one person or one married couple. If you get divorced after the adoption is final then you will have custody questions just... Read more »
I know I have to hire a lawyer in GA.

yes.
SS card currently reflects 1st name, middle initial and married name. I’m divorced and requesting to change my name back to 1st name, middle name and maiden name. Ive recently updated my drivers license to what I’m petitioning for.

Not necessarily, though it would be preferable to have them match. Your legal name is what is on your birth certificate, as modified by marriage or a prior name change.

If the judge ordered him to do it, perhaps. I assume such an attorney was thought necessary to draft a qualified domestic relations order (QDRO); if so perhaps his wife's attorney could get one and get the court to require your boyfriend to pay for it.
I am domedtic violence victim by him. And hes had me removed via exparte order

More information is needed to determine whether or not you have an interest in the house, other assets, spousal support, retirement, and child support (if applicable).
I recommend that you contact a family law attorney.
Is this considered identity theft?

If you want a divorce what you can do is hire an attorney to file a divorce action for you. Schedule a consultation to discuss your case in detail and learn your specific options.
Best of luck!
The ruling has me in contempt of court and subject to 30 days in jail if I do not reimburse my ex-wife and pay her attorney fees within 30 days. I have a compliance hearing scheduled for 30 September.

You've indicated that you need a lawyer. You've also said you are overseas, and Justia has the question in the Ohio section with a location in Virginia. So the first step here is to figure out where you have court so you can seek out an attorney who practices in that area. You want to... Read more »

As a general rule, the children are returned to the non-offending parent. If that is not possible, the children will be placed with an eligible relative. If that is not possible the children will be placed into the foster care system.

What should I do to protect my son and I if my wife just left to another city without saying anything and left my son behind with me

Every divorce and child custody case is very unique. So keep in mind that my response is general. This restraining order... Read more »

No, it is not based on who files first in Kentucky, but rather on the parties' relative financial circumstances. The court may also consider other factors.
No clue what to do first. Divorce decree from OCT states that I intend to file for bankruptcy.
