Her father is deceased. My husband has been in her life since she was 2. She also receives survivors benefits from her deceased father. How would me and my husband go about adoption? Would my daughter lose her survivors benefits from her deceased father?

An adoption attorney can do an intrafamily adoption and she won't lose her benefits.
I have a open DCFS case and I went to the clerks office to get my documents cause I have some questions still left unanswered. And my lawyer isn’t helping me with anything I can’t afford an attorney. There has been a lot of unprofessional foul play involved with this case

indeed ineffective,reversed and remanded for new trial and the DCA concludes that defendant established prejudice because of the ineffectiveness... does it that constitute a legal civil matter to be filed against the trial counsel for ineffectiveness?

This is not a criminal law question…it involves an issue for a civil trial lawyer to determine and assess liability and damages. If you are going to sue for damages resulting from this matter, you would have to deal with a statute of limitations issue which is two years.
