Q: I was born in 78 and another man was listed on my birth certificate. In Louisiana how would I add my bio father?

My mother was married and put her husband as my father on my birth certificate.

Q: My daughter's dad is deceased and he is not on her birth certificate. Can my husband adopt her?

Her father is deceased. My husband has been in her life since she was 2. She also receives survivors benefits from her deceased father. How would me and my husband go about adoption? Would my daughter lose her survivors benefits from her deceased father?

An individual cannot force the State to pursue child neglect charges and is highly unlikely to expend scarce resources to investigate those charges where an individual underwent a medical procedure which was legal in the state in which it was performed.

Children (minors) cannot just be given away legally, more specifically the parental rights still remain with the parent. There are legal avenues that can be taken.
