It is a debt of your dad's estate. Is your dad's estate solvent? Are you gonna go through probate? If so, please contact a probate lawyer to discuss this and how best to proceed.

Q: I am in the middle of a dispute attorney in Switzerland said I was a relative of her late client

I already got a hold of bank and another lawyer about this I have till may5th to figure out what I was doing this was her idea but she cant come up with the fees for the lawyer over there they dont know about her so to say what should I do or what can it do

If you agree to have a specific amount taken from your account, then that is normal. If any other amount is taken without your permission, the landlord needs to return it immediately or they will be criminally liable. small claims allows up to $10,000. It may be the fastest way to unfreeze the account, and the bank should not put a freeze on any funds not a part of the check. Consult with a local attorney.

Q: Mt son received unemployment benefits that were deposited to a debit card serviced by Bank of America.

Last October my son discovered that over 16,000 dollars were missing from his account. He promptly reported the missing funds to BofA and filed a police report. Bank of America has repeatedly denied his claim. What can he do to get his money back?

File a claim with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. His money is insured up to $250,000.

Q: I went to deposit 2 checks into my bank. I’ve had the account for at least 10 months. They’re holding my checks 10 days.

Holds on checks are not uncommon and legal, particularly if the check is out of the ordinary for the account. A check is not money, it is a promise to deliver money. Q: How does one prevent someone in the family from opening a credit card, bank account, debit card, etc?

what do you need to make sure a person (above 18 in your family) can not open a credit card, bank account, debit card or any other financial instrument so that they can spend/buy things?

You can't prevent someone over 18 from doing any of those things in their own name unless you happen to have legal guardianship over them. It does not matter if they are your own biological children. Once they are 18, you have no legal right OR responsibility for them.

Trustee fees and other costs are deducted out to issuance of the checks. They will still get everything they are entitled to under the plan, but the amounts of payment can differ.

You could be charged as a party to a crime, Close your bank account , Do not give a statement to the bank or police if they call you. You will need to retain a lawyer if the police call you.

What does that mean? Once a bill is passesd by the General Assembly, it is called a Public Law and assigned a number.
