Q: How do I voluntarily surrender my parental rights as a father in Kentucky?

A woman is forcing to me to have a child from an accidental pregnancy. I don't even live in the same state.

You have to wait until the child is born and then you can file a petition to terminate.

You can’t do any of those things until the child is born. After birth, you can file a petition to terminate your parental rights.

I am the victim of a 1st degree sexual abuse case. You would need to contact the entity that prosecuted the original case, either the Commonwealth Attorney or the county Attorney. The clerks office can tell you which one prosecuted the man.

Q: I have a lien on a personal sale vehicle, and still have the 2nd key. Can I get my vehicle back?

The purchase of the vehicle was written in to a home renovation contract. Contractor has not delivered on his end. Can I take my own vehicle back, or do I need to have it towed?

You can take your own vehicle back yourself if you can do it without a breach of the peace.

If the police knows I did a crime and they ask for a id and I say I don’t have it on me and they don’t believe me and they go ahead and check my pockets to see if I was lying, was wondering if that allowed without my consent

Q: do the officers have to provide a subject or the homeowner a copy of the warrant ( federal) prior to home search ?

does law require the searching officer to also provide supporting documents and affidavit's that are noted attachments to warrant ? thank you much

Yes. They do. The affidavits are usually not attached to the warrants Jen it is executed.

Nothing. Walmart doesn’t prosecute shoplifters.

In some circumstances in Kentucky you may be liable. Did you already remove it from your car insurance?

I was wondering if the VA rehab counts towards my DUI classes

No, the Kentucky Division of Driver Licensing will only accept completions from programs authorized for DUI treatment. See drive.ky.gov under Driver Services, DUI Laws in Kentucky. No. You will have to do part or all of the sentence. That will be up to the judge. You may also face new charges for absconding.

Q: A transfer deed was made for an acre of land with a with a first right of refusal clause.

The grantee then transferred the deed to someone else without honoring the FROR. Does this make the new deed void.

No but there is a serious cloud on the Title. It might be cured by a Quit Claim Deed from the optionee to the present grantee. Your grantor may have breached a covenant of title.

Q: My wife was named administrator of her late mother's estate. The house is still in debt to USDA rural housing for 28k.

As the administrator is she allowed to sell her mothers house to pay off the debt to USDA and other creditors? Or does she have to have permission from the court and USDA rural housing to sell it?

She will need permission from the court to sell the house since there was no will.

This individual should first make a written report of the instances of harassment to the company's HR department. If corrective action is not taken after this, this individual can next file a charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
