You should contact Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Southern Nevada Senior Law Program, or Nevada Legal Services for placement. They are all Pro Bono service providers who qualify clients, have staff attorneys, as well as place cases with private attorneys. Good luck.

No property together. I retired prior to us getting married. I'm not employed and she wants spousal support and my retirement. We have been living apart for the past 3-4 years. We were married in Las Vegas(where I live) and she lives in Ohio. Is she entitled?

answered on Jun 15, 2022
She should not be entitled to your retirement as it was earned prior to your marriage. However, the income you receive from the retirement monthly may be used to calculate your total income in order to calculate spousal support amount.

It appears that since the child reached majority without any child support order in place, from either the family court or the district attorney child support division, you waived the right as you intentionally relinquished your right to child support by closing the support case.

A Nevada attorney could answer best, but your question remains open for four weeks. I'm sorry for your ordeal and the frustration in finding an attorney. It's no guarantee, but one option at this point could be to explore legal aid services or pro bono attorneys. Good luck
I was brought to the US by my parents illegally, w/o inspection or Visa in 1989 when I was 3 yrs old. I have been in this country ever since. I am now under DACA and have a Work Permit.I am applying for Green Card w/Form I-130 & I-486 & I-864 as my Spouse of 4 years is a US Citizen.

Well,, if you in fact you entered the United States without inspection as a minor along with your mother, then you would not be able to obtain your green card. Unless there's some waiver that you may be able to take advantage of. In addition, unless you have been grandfathered under 245(i),... Read more »

A landlord-tenant attorney would probably be in the best position to advise about eviction. In terms of the cars, you already included Criminal Law for... Read more »

A person having an original Will (not just a photocopy) is required by law to file it within 10 days after the Will writer dies. This is not strictly enforced. Some people are slow to file a Will or begin probate. However, you can search for filed Wills by name on the Clark County Court website.... Read more »

Spouse dies, does deed transfer upon presentation of death certificate?

No, it is not assumed, and even if it was JTWROS, presentation of the death certificate is not sufficient.
You should consult with an attorney, as there are a few things to consider before it can be determined how best get the house transferred.
