    Abstract: The present invention provides a damping material and a damping sheet made therefrom. Specifically, the present invention provides a damping material comprising 10-50 wt % of a block copolymer elastomer; 5-40 wt % of a specific-length fiber; 5-45 wt % of a thermoplastic non-elastomeric polymer; 5-50 wt % of a tackifier; 0-50 wt % of an inorganic filler; and 0-30 wt % of a flame retardant based on the total weight of the damping material. The damping material and the damping sheet made therefrom according to the present invention have high damping properties, a wide application temperature range and a low density, and can serve as a novel damping material in the current automobile, rail transit, construction and electrical appliance industries.

    Abstract: A novel medium heavy alloy (MHA) a composition designed and processed such that the MHA has properties comprising a tensile strength of about 1527 MPa, a proof strength of about 1337 MPa, and an impact toughness of about 180 J, when the MHA is forged, and the tensile strength of about 1746 MPa, the proof strength of about 1571 MPa, and the impact toughness of about 55 J, when the MHA is agedly treated. The superior strength-toughness is attributed to the face-centered cubic matrix and/or the nano-sized secondary phases. The superior dynamic performance is attributed to the widening of adiabatic shear bands.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for mining minority-class data samples are described. A minority-class mining service receives activations generated by an inner-layer of a client neural network that has been trained to perform a prediction task that involves classification. The minority-class mining service generates a recalibrated activation using a recalibration neural network, and generates an anomaly detector output using an anomaly detector. From the anomaly detector output, a minority-class score is computed for the data sample represented by a received activation. The computed minority-class score is compared against a minority-class threshold to identify a candidate minority-class data sample. The candidate minority-class data sample can then be labeled and added to the training dataset for the client neural network.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an intelligent collision avoidance method for a swarm of unmanned surface vehicles based on deep reinforcement learning; firstly, a theoretical framework of autonomous learning collision avoidance of a swarm of unmanned surface vehicles based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed, and the LSTM neural network memory ability is integrated to realize the continuity of collision avoidance actions; then, according to the USV environment in the framework, the characterization method is obtained, and the USV collision avoidance reward and punishment function is proposed to evaluate the collision avoidance effect; finally, an intelligent collision avoidance training system for a swarm of unmanned surface vehicles is formed. The simulation and verification of this disclosure show that the USV trained in this disclosure can navigate safely in the collision avoidance environment with a swarm of unmanned surface vehicles and realize intelligent collision avoidance.
