Depending on how long it has been since the adoption, you may be able to go back into the case and have it set aside if you weren’t given notice or served.

Depends on whether the dog has ever bitten anyone before. You should also warn the new owner if he has bitten before. If you disclose snd they still take the dog, you should be fine. Failing to disclose is where the trouble will come.

No. The rental and the sale both will have to be at full fair market value in order to preserve your grandfathers estate. You may be able to rent it and buy it later, but they will both have to be at fair market value.

Theoretically, yes, although that is generally not how it happens. Once you give notice, they will generally ask you to leave shortly after that. The notice period rarely ever comes into play.

If no one has claimed him within five (5) days and theres no other info is of ownership, you can consider him your dog. The sooner you get him chipped and vetted, the sooner you’ll be able to say he is your dog.
