The American Branch of the International Law Association is dedicated to
the study, clarification and development of International Law and the
advancement of peace, equity and justice worldwide.
Members work together on committees to issue reports, amicus briefs, and letters to Congress, federal agencies, the United Nations, and other international organizations on a range of current and evolving topics.
Founded in 1922, the American Branch is now in its 100th year of working towards the betterment of the world through the teaching, study, and development of international law. We are pleased to commemorate this notable achievement with our members and the international law community.
The Branch celebrated its centennial throughout the year with events and special projects, including a Centennial Gala in New York City on October 20, 2022 and a short documentary.
