The sender device can generate resource queries directed to at least two participant devices and receive responses indicating whether each of the participant devices has a resource available to host a virtual network function (“VNF”). The sender device can generate commands directed to security interface applications executed by the participant devices. The commands can instruct the participant devices to instantiate the VNFs. The sender device can partition the data into data partitions directed to the participant devices. The sender device can send the data partitions to the VNFs of the participant devices. The VNFs can forward the data partitions to a network access device that can combine the data partitions and send the data to the service via the network.

The system can receive viewer position information that identifies a specific actionable position of the viewer. The system can generate manipulation instructions to instruct the volumetric content playback system to manipulate the annotated volumetric content to achieve a desired emotional state of the viewer.

Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that provide an improved mechanism for a subscriber entity to report to a network provider a network issue that affects the performance of an application that uses a service provided by the network provider. The improved mechanism can enable fine granularity with respect to the network issue by identifying the issue on a per-session basis. In response to feedback data that is reported by the subscriber entity, the network provider can perform self-healing or other upgrade techniques to rapidly remedy the network issue.

Abstract: In one example, real-time text (RTT) communications are integrated with video services. For instance, one method for integrating RTT communications with video services includes receiving a real time text call intended for a recipient in a home network, forwarding the real time text call to a first device in the home network, receiving a signal to redirect the real time text call to a second device in the home network that is different from the first device, and forwarding the real time text call to the second device, in response to the signal.

Abstract: Core network slices that belong to a given operator community are efficiently tracked at the network control/user plane functions level, with rich data analytics in real-time based on their geographic instantiations. In one aspect, an enhanced vendor agnostic orchestration mechanism is utilized to connect a unified management layer with an integrated slice-components data analytics engine (SDAE), a slice performance engine (SPE), and a network slice selection function (NSSF) in a closed-loop feedback system with the serving network functions of one or more core network slices. The tight-knit orchestration mechanism provides economies of scale to mobile carriers in optimal deployment and utilization of their critical core network resources while serving their customers with superior quality.

A first data access policy is associated with the second data feed and a publisher for the second data feed is created in the second data distribution network. The software defined networking controller can generate a command to cause a quantum key distribution resource to perform an action to mitigate impact from the failed communication link. The system can further determine settings for the encoder based on a media type, and encode the media via the encoder according to the settings. The system can detect when the media client moves to a new network, detect new quality of service parameters, and select a new encoder based on the list of decoders available at the media client, the media type, and the new quality of service parameters.

Abstract: Compression techniques can reduce the fronthaul throughput in split radio access network (RAN) architectures for next generation designs. Adaptive fixed-point mapping can reduce the throughput requirements between a baseband unit (DU) and a remote radio unit (RU). Thus, a bit or plurality of bits can indicate the type of data being passed over the fronthaul. Consequently, adaptive mapping between precoded downlink data and non-precoded downlink data suited to the type of data passed over the fronthaul can achieve high compression ratios.
