Cedar Point officially opens for the summer, unveiling new coaster
SANDUSKY, Ohio (WTVG) - Cedar Point is officially open for the summer, unveiling its new ride Top Thrill 2.
Top Thrill 2 is currently the world’s tallest and fastest triple-launch strata coaster, going 120 mph and standing at 420 feet tall. The two-minute ride is the first of its kind, bringing yet another world record holder to the amusement park.

The park is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Monday, with a daily ticket costing $49.99.
