It’s Marshmello’s world, we’re just living in it. Monday (June 10) on Twitter, the ubiquitous masked producer teased “Rescue Me,” the lead single from his forthcoming LP Joytime III. The 30-second song clip reveals a bright, hooky wall of synth outfited with vocals from venerable Florida pop/punk outfit A Day to Remember. “Rescue Me” drops this Friday.

While there is no official release date for Joytime III, the new single surely indicates that the hotly anticipated album can’t be far off.

Meanwhile, Marshmello continues his domination of the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, with his massive single “Happier” still sitting at No. 1 after 41 weeks on the chart. (The song, a collaboration with Bastille, holds the chart’s record for most weeks at No. 1, recently eclipsing Zedd’s “The Middle.”) “Here With Me,” Marshmello’s collab with CHVRCHES, is hot on its tail at No. 2.
