https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/exclusives/brittnie-brooks-talks-returning-four-months-after-knee-surgery-wanting-take-part-dreamwave-uprising
Brittnie Brooks talks her return from injury. After nearly six months away from the ring, Brittnie Brooks returned to action for Uprising's Good As Gold Rumble match in December 2024. When 2025 rolled around, Brooks returned to full-time action. As of June, she's already wrestled 35+ matches in promotions like Future Stars Of Wrestling, DREAMWAVE, and GCW. While chatting with Fightful's own Sean Ross Sapp for a recent interview, Brooks said that she feels 100% after struggling for the first couple months of the year. "I came back four months post-surgery, which is like never heard before. People don't just do that. It's because I really want to do the Dreamwave Uprising Rumble. It's their first ever Rumble and I wanted to be a part of it and I threw the knee braces on, but then after I did that, I took a month or two to actually get back, and January 26th was my first match, and I've had a match every single weekend since then. I think I definitely wasn't 100 % in January, but kind of by February, March, and now in April, I really feel like I'm starting to get my groove back, and I'm starting to be confident, more every single day. But there's a lot of little things that I feel like I lost, but I'm still getting them back. But yeah, I definitely feel 100 now, for sure." When asked about her goals, Brittnie Brooks stated that she wants to wrestle for Defy and House Of Glory. "I really want to do House of Glory. That's a big goal of mine. Defy. I'd love to go back to Prestige. There's so many. I have like a little bucket list on my phone of like indies that I wanna do, hopefully before I get signed. But there's like a good list that I would just love to do. I've, fortunately, gotten to do quite a few of them that are on the list." Elsewhere in the interview, Brooks talked about wanting to be a part of the WWE ID program. Check out her full comments by clicking here. Bryan Danielson shares his childhood favorite WWE superstar. Bryan Danielson will go down for many as one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots, but like all wrestlers, his fandom started somewhere and for Danielson, the intensity of The Ultimate Warrior was impossible for him to ignore as a child. On Kiro News Radio on Saturday, Bryan Danielson would speak in a new interview. While discussing his childhood fandom of pro wrestling, Danielson would name The Ultimate Warrior as his favorite wrestler as a child. “Growing up, my favorite was the Ultimate Warrior. You know, when you’re a kid, you like the colors. He looked like a superhero, he shook the ropes," Danielson said. “The first wrestling show I ever went to see was at the Tacoma Dome. The main event was the Ultimate Warrior v. Rick Rude, and the Ultimate Warrior did this move where he pulled his pants down. It was the first time my sister had ever seen an exposed male butt.” Danielson also recently noted that he is still not cleared to get back in the ring. Blackheart reunited with Gage backstage at a GCW event. After her WWE contract was not renewed, Shotzi Blackheart's first match back on the independent scene was for Game Changer Wrestling. She entered the Tournament of Survival. While at the show, Blackheart ran into Nick Gage. While speaking to Podcast Heat Wrestling, Blackheart recalled a planned 10,000-thumbtack match she was going to do with Gage. The match was scrapped due to Blackheart signing with WWE. She feels she owes it to herself and to Gage to do the match. Blackheart has tweeted that the only person who could bring her back to deathmatch wrestling is Gage. Blackheart has an ongoing back-and-forth with Matt Cardona. She was asked if she'd do a deathmatch with him and suggested the idea of a three-way with Cardona, Gage, and herself. “I saw him backstage at GCW T.O.S. and it was just so good to see him and before I got signed, we were meant to have -- I think it was like a 10,000-thumbtack match that unfortunately because of WWE, I had to pull out of it and now that I’m back, I feel like I owe it to myself and to Nick Gage to have that match. You know what? I would (give Matt Cardona a deathmatch). I would give him a deathmatch. But he said that he retired and he said that he would only come out for Nick Gage so, I don’t know, maybe there’s a really awesome three-way right there…” Blackheart has a list of upcoming GCW dates she is scheduled for and to view that, head over to her X account. Two losses from the BULLET CLUB faction. Starting the NJPW Dominion main card from Osaka-jō Hall was an eight-man tag team match. It was BULLET CLUB War Dogs versus HOUSE OF TORTURE and the latter faction would be revealing its newest member. Representing the War Dogs were Drilla Moloney, Clark Connors, Taiji Ishimori, and Chase Owens, and on the H.O.T. front, coming out were SANADA, Ren Narita, and Yujiro Takahashi. The newest member of the group was revealed to be Bad Luck Fale. Fale is an original BULLET CLUB member. He last wrestled in Japan in March. Towards the backend of the bout, Chase Owens ended up turning on the War Dogs. He ran into the ring to stop SANADA from hitting Moloney with a guitar, but then turned around and low-blowed Moloney. SANADA followed up to secure the win. Post-match, Owens dropped his now former stablemate Taiji Ishimori to the mat when Ishimori confronted him.Sun, 15 Jun 2025 07:38:31 +0000Andrew Thompson161073 at https://www.fightful.com/REVOLVER Cage Of Horrors Results (6/14): Ninja Mack, Priscilla Kelly, Rich Swann, AJ Francis Compete
