You should be fine as long as you are staying in one of the official hotels.

Everything should be within walking distance depending on where you are staying which must be the big part. And if you do need a ride cabs can be called.

I am going without a car. There are shuttles to SpiceWorld and I feel like I am not going to have time to explore further.

I rented a car my first year (and the first year of SpiceWorld) and that was only to head out to the Salt Lick for some BBQ.

Haven’t needed to get a car any of the other years, if you are staying downtown or any of the SpiceWorld hotels, you will be just fine.

Yeah, I’m in the Holiday Inn Town Lake. Figured it wasn’t necessary to have a car, but I’ve never been to Spiceworld or any other out-of-town conference before; don’t know what to expect. Sunday evening and Monday afternoon are my down times, I guess I can just hop a bus (cabs are always expensive).

Going to Salk Lick would be my only true reason for a car as well. Maybe I’ll find someone heading out there and hitch a ride.

I so wish I was going, I have been to Spice World London twice and they were great experiences but, Spice World Austin must be IT Nirvana.

I will do one day, it is just a matter of convincing my boss what a good thing it would be to send me…

In addition, there are buses that will take you to nearby attractions.

What happens at SpiceWorld stays at SpiceWorld Actually we did have an impromptu after party at the bar at the Wyndham a couple times.
