Just a quick and simple post today, I’ve created a sign that says “The copier is now voice activated!” And so far, I’ve had about 3 victims. It’s quick, easy, and really good for the laughs.

You guys pull any pranks as of today?

User: Tuesday.

User: April…oh, did you do something?

Me: No, but your boss was in a little early. Check for tape on the bottom of your mouse.

Her boss put tape on all his workers mice this morning. She’s the only one that came to me for help.

Will have to save the “voice activated” printer for next year.

I sent this e-mail and got lots of calls asking for the cost and that they would do a payroll deduction to keep theirs!!!

We are going green! Starting next Monday 4/7, I will be uninstalling all dual monitors from all workstations. The reason we have decided to do this is because of the rising energy costs to power them and their impact to the environment. We have also calculated there are only negligible productivity gains so it doesn’t make sense to continue their use.

We will be selling all monitors on Kijiji or to any person who would like to purchase one.

Sent an email out to all our graduates saying they have been lucky enough to be put in our Office 2013 pilot group, a shortcut on their desktop called ‘Office 2013 Installation’ is placed but actually points to a script fires up about 20 IE Windows then displays a message 'Winner! you have won a free cup holder" it then opens their CD/DVD drive. (thanks to a spiceworks posted script for that)
