Amazon is now offering various color options of the latest Bose Ultra Open Bluetooth Earbuds, including the sweet Diamond 60th Anniversary Edition set, down at $229 shipped. Regularly $299, this is $70 off, matching the price you’ll pay for a refurbished set right now straight from Bose, and the lowest we can find. While we have seen refurbished sets of the latest Ultra Open down as low as $180 a couple times this year, and even a quick drop over at Woot for the black set in brand new condition at the same $180, it’s not often we see the other colors drop below $229 – once during the holidays last year we saw the champagne/off-white Diamond 60th Anniversary Edition set drop to $199. It is also worth noting that the previous Woot deal on the black set, did not include a full 1-year Bose warranty, but rather 90-day Woot coverage.
The Open buds are very much what they sound like, delivering Bose’s floating wear experience, as opposed to having to jam them right up into your ears like traditional buds. They also happen to be some of the best open buds I have tried out, by way of a cuff-like fit while still delivering solid audio and a private listening experience.
