We featured a ton of deals on Apple gear around here, as you likely now – you’re basically just wasting your money if you buy just about any Apple gear any other way. But we do no see a ton of deals – in fact very, very few – on Mac Studio machines. The M4 Mac mini deals are flying today starting from a new $469 all-time low, but we did just spot a particularly deep refurbished offer on Apple’s M2 Max Mac Studio at $550 off the list price.
Now clearly the Mac Studio lineup is a more niche one – most folks looking towards the headless Mac lineup are going to be just fine spending much less on the current-generation M4 Mac mini instead. But considering how rare it is to see deep discounts like this on the M2 Max Mac Studio, we thought we better get it front and center just in case.
The model you are looking at here features the M2 Max chip alongside 32GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD with a 12-core CPU/20-Core GPU setup. This currently fetches $1,799 directly from Best Buy in new condition, but over at Woot you’ll find a refurbished unit with a 90-day warranty sitting down at $1,249 shipped, or $550 off the current new list price.
Again, this machine isn’t for everyone, and it certainly isn’t the latest model, but Mac Studio deals don’t come around all too often online and this is $750 under the price of the most affordable current-gen M4-based Mac Studio – although they are $200 off at B&H today.
But like I said, unless you absolutely must have the Studio model at a major discount, today’s M4 Studio model deals are live and the M4 Mac mini models might do the trick anyway
