New Journey leather VERSA MagSafe Money Clip Wallet with Find My
This certainly isn’t the first Journey MagSafe wallet, or the first model on the market with built-in Find My, but it does land as the brand’s most premium solution yet that delivers on both fronts while also adding some additional functionality and a more unique design approach.
First things first, this is your standard bifold MagSafe wallet that magnetically affixes to the back of your iPhone – although it does look like the kind of thing that can be used like a traditional wallet as well – alongside a built-in kickstand function to perch your device up at proper viewing angle on the table top when needed (portrait or landscape by the looks of it).
You’ll find an outer pocket for cards and the like as well as a more discreet compartment on the inside for ID, credit cards, and so forth. Also tucked within the bifold is a built-in money clip for cash. The whole thing is finished with “real leather” and features a sort of metal accent cap on the lower left corner for a hit of design interest.
All of this, of course, joins built-in Apple Find My tech and an onboard speaker for audible chimes. It simply gets added to the Find My wallet on iPhone and provides all of the usual tracking features via Apple’s location network, Left Behind notifications, and so on. I am also happy to report that, while a single charge lasts for “3-5 months,” you can juice it back up wirelessly when needed.
