Meta teased an Xbox-branded Quest VR headset last year when it announced the launch of the Xbox app on Quest, and it’s finally here. The brand’s new Xbox-branded limited-edition Quest 3S VR headset is now official and it’s going on sale today for $399.99 shipped at Best Buy and meta.com. This is essentially a custom colorway headset that comes bundled with an Xbox controller, and it boots directly into the Xbox app. Head below for more details.
Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle now up for grabs
The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition bundle officially going on sale today includes the base variant of Meta’s 3S headset with 128GB storage. But unlike the standard model, this limited-edition unit comes in “Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green” colors along with matching Touch Plus controllers. Meta is also throwing in an Xbox wireless controller with this unit in the same colors, which is pretty neat and something you’ll only get with this particular bundle.

- Matching Touch Plus controllers and a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller

Besides the custom colorway, though, this is your standard Meta Quest 3S headset that comes with all the same features and specifications. Just to give you a quick refresher, the Quest 3S is powered by the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, has the same 1832 x 1920 per-eye resolution displays has a bigger battery inside compared to the Quest 3 which will get you 2.5 hours of average use.
If you don’t fancy the limited-edition model, you can snag the regular version of the Quest 3S for $299 shipped at Amazon. You’ll miss out on the limited-edition colorway and the wireless controller, but you can always pick up a separate controller to pair with your headset. The Xbox app is also available for Quest VR headsets, so you can load up all your favorite Xbox Game Pass titles directly on the standard headset, too.
