The longest Pokémon Presents showcase in years goes live tomorrow – Generation 10 teaser? Classic Switch 2 remake/NSO release?

A cartoon characters in a city

The next Pokémon Presents showcase is set to go live tomorrow morning, and it’s going to be a long one. Outside of some new Pokémon TCG drops and the May announcement for the official fall Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 release date, things have been relatively quiet on the pocket monster front as of late…but all of that is about to change tomorrow when The Pokémon Company hosts the longest Pokémon Presents showcase in years.

The Pokémon Company announced tomorrow’s Presents showcase way back in May and, as per usual, hasn’t given out many details on what to expect. That said, the folks over at Serebii.net said they spotted the Korean Pokémon YouTube channel revealing tomorrow’s presentation will run for 24 minutes – that’s substantial as far as Pokémon Presents goes. It is in fact one of the longest in the show’s nearly 5-year history and the longest one since 2023.

It is all set to go live tomorrow morning on the official Pokémon YouTube channel at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET, but what does the Pokémon Company have to show off for 24 minutes?

At this point we already have the release date for this year’s big fall release of the Legends series on Nintendo Switch, not to mention a couple different looks at gameplay footage. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will certainly be making an appearance, but it’s hard to imagine another extended gameplay rundown 3 months ahead of release pushing the runtime on the whole show all that much.

What about Gen X? Well, one can only hope, but it seems like the launch schedule for Switch 2 has pushed Legends: Z-A into the spotlight this year and chances are we would already being getting reveals for the next-gen ahead of the mainline Pokémon title that would typically launch at the same time Legends: Z-A is. The mainline pocket monster titles usually hit 3 years apart from one another and we are already well past that – could we at least get some kind of teaser for next year perhaps? I hope so.

There are however more than a few other Pokémon experiences out there and chances are we will be seeing at least some sort of update for all of them –TCG, Pokémon Sleep, Unite, mobile games, and likely what’s next from Pokémon Horizons and Concierge. Go will also be getting an update for sure:

A special Pokémon GO announcement is coming during Pokémon Presents TOMORROW!

Mark your calendars and be the first to know! #PokemonPresents

Reports also suggest there’s going to be a full hour of DJ Pikachu live before the show – maybe we are getting a new Pokémon DJ game too.

And probably a massive reveal of a complete ground up remake of a classic Pokémon for Switch 2, and official releases of all the classic games for Switch Online…except probably definitely not on any of that.

Either way, it won’t be long until we find out for sure. Come tune in tomorrow morning.
