USE THEM

Every sodding day I get the Community Daily Digest showing just the subject lines of posts and some contain no useful information at all! Just leave it blank if you aren’t going to type anything useful and save yourself the key presses!

I mean, FFS, we are supposed to be professionals yet even the most basic netiquette is missing! GGrrrrrr!

Examples:

“Please Help” - You are asking for help, No shit!
“Whats the best way” - the answer is always "it depends on cost, OS,time, resources and a million other factors that you’ve failed to provide. Halfwit.
“Look at this” - This what? picture of your kid? navel fluff collection? Curious IT issue? Official announcement of impending asteroid impact? At least give me a fucking chance to prioritise your message!
“Where can I get…” - Learn to Google!

How is it so difficult to remember a password?! I know there are so many passwords nowadays for this and that, but for the love of everything I am fed up of resetting passwords every five minutes because you cannot pick something simple for you to remember!

And how come people can’t remember their passwords after a week off work? After every school vacation, I end up swamped in password reset requests.

You think your password is too complicated to remember, with the capital letter, lower case and number? Try remembering the BIOS passwords, Admin password and half a dozen encryption/network account passwords! Try not having them written anywhere (note to teaching staff - this includes in your school planner) because you’re paranoid and things grow legs in schools!

takes several deep breaths This looks surprisingly similar to the rant I give to users when they complain about having too many passwords to remember.
