Just wanted to put in 2 cents about brother printers as we recently partnered with Brother to offer brother for Business solutions to our clients. Not sure how many shared the view I used to that brother were inexpensive home use printers, but that is not the case any longer. Brother has been releasing products aimed squarely at business and my first impressions were very positive. With Color and Monochrome Multi-Function products aimed at work groups with an array of features including many scanning functions that often cost extra and paper handling with multiple trays, this is not the brother printer you are used to seeing at Walmart.

this seems to be a statement and not a question? is there something you need help with?
1 Spice up
As stated, putting in my 2 cents.
We have used the MFC series through many models.
The J1300DW was originally advertised as ‘refillable inks’
(Of note; been through the case with Brother & 3rd party supplier- which resulted in us getting a ‘MFC lifetimes worth’ of freebies for every model we purchased)
Since then, many other manufacturers have started truly offering ‘refillable inks’
So when purchasing time comes up, which way you think I am leaning?
We just need multi-function work-horses, not fancy prUntin’ - we get that done externally
