Hello, I set up 2 remote sites for my spiceworks installation and I can’t seem to find any way to add another Admin user to the remote sites in order for another person than me to be able to set up and configure network scans.

How can I add another user account able to configure spiceworks remote sites?

Is it possible to use the user accounts from the central installation to manage the remote sites? I tried using a new “Admin” account on the central install and then try to login on a remote installation and it wouldn’t work…

Thank you.

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

SpiceWorks support answered my question.

You can access users accounts settings manually by entering the URL on the remote collector: http://remotesitename/settings/users/

It’s sad that we have to duplicate accounts on every remote sites for any central admin…

I hope this is going to be fixed or a new feature will sync passwords through all the sites.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
Hello, I set up 2 remote sites for my spiceworks installation and I can’t seem to find any way to add another Admin user to the remote sites in order for another person than me to be able to set up and configure network scans.

How can I add another user account able to configure spiceworks remote sites?

Is it possible to use the user accounts from the central installation to manage the remote sites?
