I cannot get rid of it, and the normal toolkit is not working. Spydoctor can find it but it cannot remove it. I find it on the hard drive and delete but it just keeps coming back. It’s been kind of frustrating. Has anyone else dealt with this “Helpful” program : (

i guess you have tried the usual, delete/switch off all restore points, kill it in the registry, check all startup programs etc?

I havent heard of it but try a combo of Malware Bytes and SB S&D.

It usually can get rid of most of the nasties

Actually there was a guide here a few days back about how to get rid of those respawning files.

Basically, boot into Safe, find and delete the bad guy then create a blank text file and call it the same name (and extension).

This should stop it respawning.

Well it took some work but I was able to track down every instance on the machine. All your suggestions were very helpful so I’ll give everyone some points.
