I have someone from Continuum coming to see me this afternoon and would love to hear this communities warts and all feedback about their service and NOC?

Do you use them? How have you found their service? Their support? Their software?

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

We use Continuum.

Once you have onboarding out of the way, it starts working however you have to input a lot of data and procedure for the technical team before you can completely rely on them and even then there are communication issues.

Again, there are engineers there, good and bad and newbies who may mess up your system so you need to be very careful of what access level you set up etc.

To me, they are basically robots, you tell them precisely what you want them to do no more no less with precise instructions and they will do so.

Their out of hours maintenance is also useful.

{"@type":"Person
kash2
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/kash2"}},{"@type":"Answer

Eh, they’re alright. It’s like any other outsourcing solution - you have no control over who they hire or how they interact with your clients. We tried them briefly thinking they would alleviate some Tier 1 tickets, but what we define as Tier 1 and what they define as Tier 1 are different things.

{"@type":"Person
mattschubeck8480
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/mattschubeck8480"}},{"@type":"Answer

I worked for an MSP that used them. Their alerting is good although a little sensitive to expect lots of alerts that self heal. Chat support with technicians is really hit or miss if they can fix the issue. It really depends on what you plan on using them for.

{"@type":"Person
davidscarborough2
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/davidscarborough2"}},{"@type":"Answer

Our previous MSP used Contiuum, and I was less than thrilled with their system monitoring. We had LSI raid cards installed in our physical servers at the time, and all had the LSI MSM utility installed, which did the monitoring and reporting and email notification for hard drive status, but they couldn’t figure it out and said it wasn’t possible.

This was maybe 18 months ago. We’ve since switched to a different MSP that uses CentraStage

{"@type":"Person
CrashFF
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/CrashFF"}},{"@type":"Answer

For Outlook and web browsing, I think Continuum would work fine. I just haven’t put it through enough testing where I copy and move files, attach documents to email messages, create presentations in PowerPoint, etc. Of course, I’m really frustrated I can’t install extensions in Edge yet. That single fact alone would make it a much better experience.

{"@type":"Person
alexmiller3
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/alexmiller3"}}]}}
