Looks amazing:

If it was april 1st I would say its an april fools joke, but this is taken kind of far to be a joke.

But nope, this thing is real!

I honestly had to double check the date, thinking “It’s definitely not April right now…”

$100 for Prime members, I’d probably buy it…

I’m not sure whether this is serious or not. But it’s as funny as heck.

Well that’s neat. Signed up for an invitation. Not sure if I’ll buy it if I get selected though.

haha! this looks amazing!

Signed up, but also looking at CastleOS.

It uses Microsoft Kinect for voice control.

It’s not a serious video - someone took the original video and dubbed over the answers. The product is real though.

Interesting concept. Don’t think I would ever buy one though.

I’m going to wait and see what they add as far as home automation before I pull the trigger on this or anything similar.

Dude, this is the BEST ad ever made for an electronic device. Don’t need one of these myself but I may get one for my sister’s family.

I’m not. I don’t keep several hundred dollars sitting in a savings account for random gimmicy technology that companies invent.

I’d be willing to bet that yesterday morning, before Amazon announced it, there weren’t that many people thinking “Gee, I really wish I had a talking cylinder sitting on my table to answer any random questions that pop into my head.”

I’d rather spend my money on practical things like food, gas, and a new lens for my camera. $200 seems a bit high to save myself the hassle of taking my phone out of my pocket and pressing the voice button.

Nope, but it has inspired me to go ahead and build one that doesn’t look as pretty, doesn’t perform as well, and costs at least twice as much.

“It is time for you to calm…the f***…down.”

Much better than the original.

Amazing. I wish all intelligent personal assistants were more like Alexa.

I won’t be getting one. The last thing I need in my house is another always on microphone.

I feel like that is the kind of thing people will start speculating the NSA is spying on us with. It seems a bit creepy to me. However using the “Hey, Siri” commands is totally fine for me

I was totally expecting an Amazon cart screen shot recursion here…

The original video is hilarious too…so cheesy.

That’s hilarious, now I have to have one.
