My clinic is interested in purchasing Praxis EMR for the clinic. Has anyone used this EMR? What are the pro/ cons? What was the total cost? Any hidden costs? Cheers!

I used to have a customer with it.
It works ok as an EMR, but their support leaves much to be desired.
Support has all the keys and passwords for the install including the client. If you need to install the client on a machine, you have to go through there tech support.
You can not speak directly to a tech, only to a middle person. You give that person your information and a teamviewer ID for that machine and walk away until you get a callback stating they are done.
They use Teamviewer on everything.
We are using Praxis via the cloud (we moved from our server this year) and we love it. The training staff and especially The online support has been exceptional compared to our previous EHR. I’d recommend them to anybody. Make sue you get good computers.

We just installed Praxis and are quite happy. We have two clinics and multiple specialties (Family, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ortho) and the Praxis people have been great in getting us all up and running. Great onsite instruction as well. Thank you guys!
