What do you think?

Why not? We have a Mac on our network & I’m sure others do too.
Couple of Macs here as well. Would be nice to see.
It would be intresting to see Apple get involved in the community as well, I think they would bring a lot to the table.

Sounds like a good plan!
Also, with the move to Apache for v4.5, does this mean the SW might run nativly on the Macs ? Sorry about posting to the wrong group, I was just thinking out loud…
Absolutely! They would be a great addition to the sponsor list.
Absofreakin’lutely! Love IT!
Yep, we have a few hundred Macs on the network. Love to see them take part.
You bet! We’ve got several macs in-house (in the upper end of our users) and a large number of our customers have them.
Me too!
EDIT:
Since Apple don’t have a corporate support division this would be a great avenue for them to economically (for them) get involved in the SMB world.
They definitely need to make some inroads with SMBs and this would be the correct avenue for that. They should do it. We’re mostly PC’s around here it seems. They need to try and shift the weight a little.

Since they have released the mac mini server which aims on the SMB market:
It´s a great idea to get them here.
You saw that, too? I’m intrigued…
I think that would be a great intro for Apple to make in the Spiceworks Community, give away a Mac Mini Server.
Especially if I win.
