Can you setup an approval process for help desk tickets?

If you are looking for a workflow where user1 puts in a ticket which is really a purchase request and you would like Spiceworks to route it to their boss for approval before moving to your queue, then no. Spiceworks doesn’t do that. However you can add the boss to the CC:'ed users to ask for approval. It’s a manual process, but it does the job.

Not looking for purchase approvals. Some specific requests that affect other systems/users really should have the users supervisors approval. I know we can cc: others and do that now, but wondering if Spiceworks actually has an approval process beside the Purchase approval. Looks like no, so we will use the cc: method. Thanks.

This is my first post at Spice works community.
I have a question that how does the “My Approvals” under the helpdesk Tickets work? It give me the whole data either its not relevant to me giving other managers approval too !! How can we tweak that according to a certain criteria that only show the approvals for this year, or only the approvals for the last year and on…secondly i can make a report but that wouldn’t give me the ability to drill down right away so I have to search for the ticket # in order to get the whole data which is quite horrendous and cumbersome …
