I have a meeting room that’s using a Logitech Rally Pro conferencing system that’s having issues with the in room sound. If the in room attendees play a video and the external attendees then share a video or are loud enough for a sustained period, the in room sound starts to cut out (meaning that it gets very low, and will only hear individual notes/syllables). Now if I’m in room, and play a video, it comes through the speakers fine, even if the audio from the meeting is still having issues. This has been experienced in Zoom, Teams, and Boardable.

Because it’s an issue with several apps, might want to see if there are driver or other updates for the device.

It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with the audio processing on your Logitech Rally Pro system during conferencing calls. This could be due to a variety of reasons such as settings within the conferencing software, the system’s audio configuration, or a hardware issue.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check the audio settings in the conferencing software (Zoom, Teams, Boardable) to ensure that the correct microphone and speakers are selected, and that automatic volume adjustment is turned off.

  2. Look into the Logitech Rally Pro system settings to make sure that the microphone input levels are set correctly and that any noise suppression or echo cancellation features are configured properly.

  3. Ensure that the firmware for the Logitech Rally Pro system is up to date. Firmware updates often resolve known issues.

  4. Test the system with different cables and ports to rule out any potential connection issues.

  5. If possible, try using the system with a different conferencing service or a different computer to see if the issue persists.

Sorry for bringing this up almost 2 months later, but were you able to find a solution?
I am having a similar issue where we stop hearing the other participants mid call and it happens with multiple applications as well.

Hi.

Did anyone ever get this resovled?

We have 3 new rally kits connected to a dell mff dedicated in room PC. All 3 have a stramge crackling sound which randomly comes out andthe sound will completely cut out at the start or midway through a meeting. Only a reboot restores sound.

Ive been back and forth with AV who thinks its an issue with the os/pc however we have other identical setups with other vendor devices (biamp, shure) and this doesnt happen.

HI, Just wondering if you had any resolution to your issues? I’m experiencing the same as you. Audio will just stop until the rally bar is restarted, sometimes restarting the windows audio service resolves but not all the time. I have tried literally everything from every post online to try and solve and eventually we have told AV to remove the devices.

Hi, I wish I could help you, but I didn’t have any sucess in solving this, I am in process of disconnecting the components of the system to try it out and see if anything solves the issue. The work around I found was to restart the computer before the meetings, it seems we don’t have issues during the call when we do that.

Something that you mentioned that you are using a Dell computer to run the system, and guess what? I have been using a Dell OptiPlex micro and during troubleshooting I have replaced with another Dell OptiPlex, I wonder if it is something to do with the Dell drivers…maybe this is something else to try, use a different host. I will reach out to Logitech and see what they suggest.

Same issues here. Speakers get disconnected randomly. Both on Rally Plus and Rally Bar. Different rooms in different locations, using Dell MFF (different models too) as BYOD. Reinstall of OS didn’t fix it. Logitech support asking to test with Lenovo/Apple device instead (so maybe an incompatible Dell driver?). We think the issues started since upgrading to latest firmware but can’t roll it back.

Hi

We replaced all of our Logitech Stuff with Shure STEM Ecosystem stuff. The STEM hub uses the same driver as the Logitech Rally did, no issues since - a massive relief.

Went through so many types of fixes and reinstalls to sort this to no luck. Given we had working setups with DELL machines I wasn’t keen on replacing the PC Model so did not try this, however issues are full resolved with non logitech gear.

Thanks

Just reporting back, I replaced the Dell computer with an Asus NUC 14 Pro and the audio issue went away.

Facing the exact same issue , can you tell me what model of Asus NUC 14 Pro you bought ?

I want to order a remplacement for the Dell computers that are driving me crazy. Thank you
