I am in a hybrid environment and have Azure AD free edition. I would like to use MFA with conditional access so I can omit my network range so users do not need their mobiles when on prem. I also want the enhanced password settings where you can ban dictionary words and add custom words that is on Azure AD Premium and I would also like our students to be able to reset their password with the write back facility.<\/p>\n
Just looking at the price of Azure P1 which I think covers my requests and it’s circa £4.40 per user per month. I have 500 staff. This works out at circa 26k per year which isn’t going to happen.<\/p>\n
Is there a cheaper way of doing this? I can live without students having password write back because we have 6k students so don’t know how I would cost that. Can I just buy MFA with conditional access and the enhanced password bit. Everything is now being saved into the cloud and it is only secured by password. I want MFA when offsite.<\/p>\n

Hi I’m in a similar situation, Educational organisation that needs the password write back feature of P1 for faculty.
\nBut the cost of the licenses makes it too expensive to implement.
