Hi all
Can someone give me some reviews into this product? i have read the reviews on the Ratings & Review board but it’s not enough to make me want to test this product out on our system.
We currently run Legato Networker as our backup system, but i am really getting fed up with it’s crappy Java based program as it stops working half the time and it feels like i have no control over the program what so ever and is getting me very frustrated.
If this product is not to everyones liking then let me know which backup software you prefer as my options are open at the moment.
Thanks guys

We have been using this product for approximately 4 months now and have been very happy with it. We replaced Symantec with this product in one of our remote locations after implementing a Windows 2008 Server with hyperV. There support has been very responsive and good to deal with.

Thanks for the response Jeremy, what do you think of the GUI? and how easy is it to setup backup jobs on different servers?
I am in the middle of a support call with Barracudaware on YB Server now. I will tell you we have used it approximately 5 years, even before Barracuda bought them. Tech support is very responsive and knowledgeable. Things get fixed promptly. Cost is low, and one master server license will cover almost every server in your network and all of your workstations as well. You can back up anything and everything.
We started with tape backups only, but network based tape backup was burning up our tape drives, so I now use a modified D2D backup and then backup those instances to tape.

Out of 1 - 10 (1 being the worse) how would you rate the ease of use and the amount of control you have over it?
About an 8. The biggest issue I have is that leaving the service on automatic during a reboot of a server will sometimes hang the system and cause it to take up to 15 minutes before we get a service error.
Backup media choices are also somewhat quirky but once you figure it out, it works well.
Forgot to mention, the master server will push updates to the other systems automatically- a nice feature limiting your need to maintain the system.
How do you move the disk to tape and wipe the disk backups?
I need to go to disk daily then to one of
2 tape changers weekly wiping out the disk backups so I have a full weekly set on tape at any time. I cannot figure out how to do that.
