Hello Everyone,

We are looking for some new options to remotely access our network clients (Windows XP, 7, and couple Macs). I was hoping someone could suggest something that they think works well and has alot of features…

Thanks in advance.

A lot of utilities…Dameware

Might want to provide more info though…remote as in local lan, wan, over VPN or seperate altogether.

edit…oops…did not read Mac…Dameware if for Windows only

Depending on how much you want to spend.

wwwlogmein.com is great we use it here at work the free version is good…

there is also VNC, Tight VNC you can configure it and works great!!!

you can try logmein Rescue. it supports XP, 7, and OSX…

it all depends on your budget!!!

I’m a big fan of LogMeIn. Highly secure, very flexible.

I recommend GoverLAN Version 7 from PJ Tecnologies. The lay out is easy to use and I cannot think of anything I could not do with it. Their tech support is easy to get a hold of and know how to quickly help you, like they helped me.

Ultra VNC is the only one that is really good on Vista and Windows 7.

If it’s a newer Mac is has a remote option already in the OS.

Crossloop is good and free but has to be installed on both computers.

I love logmein and teamviewer. Both are very powerful and have different feature sets.

I just started playing with mesh central. ( www.meshcentral.com ) Anyone work with that product yet? I am intrigued…

We’ve been using Bomgar for the last 6 weeks and it’s been working very well. Nice set of features and not complicated to use at all.
