its that 2 inch that matters

That’s what she said.

You beat me to it

I know that feel, I got to bring in two 24’s a few years ago to see how they worked. worked so well all of IT is not decked out with dual 22’s or 24’s (a couple of us have 3 or 4 of em  )

There’s actually a lot of people here in the office with up to 5 monitors, so our IT department is nice about people wanting more monitors. I find that once they are too far out of my field of vision I miss stuff, so two is enough for me.

… Again… That’s what she said.

One more time… "That’s what she said "

And I feel for those IT guys having to set the resolution to 1024x768 so that the old people can see…

Isn’t 2 inches the difference between ooh and aah? Seems like I saw that on a card some time ago.

I have 2 X 24" monitors - could not do without them!

I’ve got 2x 23". I get sad when I work from home and I can’t drag things over… only have one 24" at home.

Now… convince them to donate all those old 20" screens to your favorite non-profit (that’s ME, by the way) and I’ll have a good day, too

“It was a good day”… Oh, I get it. It’s very clever.

I asked our tech what we do with them and he says they sell them to a refurbishing company here in Denver (similar idea to old office furniture).

/sigh

If you’re still stuck on a CRT, take this to heart:

2 x 27’ at work and 4 x 27" at home (2 each on 2 separate systems).

I’m still searching for the right mount to support 3 x 27" at the office. I ordered one that clamps to the desk, but the desk ledge is not deep enough. Monoprice recently came out with a freestanding mount that is supposed to support 3, but I haven’t researched it yet.

nice day at the office.

3x27 at work, using a 2-display stand and the 3rd is on its own propped up by a book lol. The 3rd screen adds a lot in my admin work - I use it almost exclusively for RDP and love having my other 2 screens still available.
