I am a fan of DigiCert - great customer support and yes if you screw it up they will issue another cert. Also, Digicert SSL certs are well trusted.

As I mentioned in my guide,

NameCheap has 3 SAN certificates for $29.88 USD

I do not get anything from them for a referral.

I’m a fan of DigiCert EV certs for my Exchange server. I also use their wildcard certs for my domain. Easy and good support.

As Adam recommends, SAN SSL from Namecheap.

Did you know you could use Let’s Encrypt, which is free SSL certificate that you can use with your Exchange server. The only problem is that certificates issued by Let’s Encrypt must be renewed every 90 days.

Following steps demonstrate how to renew them automatically:

  • Install Xeams on any computer within your LAN. You can use the Community Edition, which is free.
  • Watch this video showing the steps
  • If inbound port 80 is available, Xeams will automatically renew the certificate for you. Once renewed, you can import it in your Exchange server. If port 80 is not available, you can use the DNS method as described in the video.
