A complete installation instruction built upon Ubuntu 15.10 (or current) Server to a working Xen Orchestra installation.

From the sources (so no support) but completely functional. Included are Delta backup capabilities, DR, and Emergency shutdown to name a few of the amazing features.

Bash script built by ScottAlanMiller

Step 1: Build a Ubuntu 15.10 Server (17.04 and newer works)

Make a Ubuntu 15.10 (new is recommended) server, a VM is perfectly acceptable.

Step 2: Sudo Bash

So you’ll need a root shell,

sudo bash

Step 3: Install the required tools and compile

sudo curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/scottalanmiller/xenorchestra_installer/master/xo_install.sh | bash

That’s it, you now have a running Xen Orchestra Installation on Ubuntu 15.10 Server.

The default admin credentials are “admin@admin.net” and “admin” for the password.

You’ll want to get the IP of this Server, which is then accessible via your favorite web browser.
