Cannot add a device

Hi,

Trying to add a device to RC1 (Old beta version removed and a fresh install was made).

I’m getting an error saying that the device already exists (it was monitored previuosly), but the list of monitored devices is currently empty.

After uninstall did you delete the program files folder for NWM before reinstallation? Theres some temporary files stashed in there.

No. I didn’t. I know this issue from previous beta upgrades, but I thought they would be gone now in RC1.

Hi Yasaf! Hope you have been doing well…

We had no plans to make the installer capable of upgrade during the betas or even the release candidate. This means you’ll need to uninstall and completely remove anything that was there previously before you can install the new build. This also means you have to manually add each server and switch again.

The plan is to work on upgrade capability for the patches after the release.
