Does anyone have any IT (ITIL) Change Management Templates you’d be willing to share? We need to do a better job of documenting network changes and wondered if anyone had something we could use without having to recreate the wheel? Thanks!

There have been a few discussions on this topic with some great resources. Take a look at the links below:

Change management is very broad and depends a lot on what the company is willing to do. You have to find a good balance between CYA and not being cumbersome.

You don’t necessarily need a complicated template for this. Start your change managment initiative simply and then refine the process as your experience grows. This might be a good starting point:
You will find many companies online willing to SELL you templates, training, etc. As long as you aren’t going for certification and bowing at the feet of the ITIL gurus, you can do much good without them.

Remember that ITIL is just a framework. If you follow examples from the book without adapting them for your environment it can be very detrimental to productivity. Quite the opposite of ITIL ironically.
